I bought this set for my nearly 8-year-old son, who wanted a Rubik's Cube for Christmas. I figured a speed cube would be nice because I remember being a kid playing with a Rubik's Cube and finding it hard to turn sometimes, and I didn't want to be "on call" when he was playing with it because he was having trouble rotating it. I also thought having different shapes and variations would be fun.Long story short, he LOVES all four of them. I've used an online solver to help solve them, which means I've learned something about solving them on my own (something I never bothered to really look into as a kid, but my mom always knew how to solve it), and I've been able to teach him some. I like the 4-cube one because it's a great way to learn different techniques, so he's working on mastering that. I like the "skewb" a lot (and there is a skewb solver online), but my only complaint is that, because it's a speed cube, it is easy to pick up and accidentally turn. You have to hold it by the middle pieces on opposite sides. It's not a flaw with the design; it's just the way the skewb is that you have to be careful with it. I suppose that's a plus, though, that all four of them turn really smoothly.Anyway, my son's set has gotten plenty of use since Christmas, and I haven't noticed any problems with it. For what it costs, it's a great toy, and I appreciate that it's not a mindless game. I highly recommend this set for kids and adults alike!

I grew up with the Rubix Cube. All of the different puzzles are pretty cool. I expected a much cheaper build, basically a throw away. I was pleasantly surprised. It has a tight yet smooth rotation action. They seem well built. We did not put it through the 3 year old test, but aside from that, two thumbs up.

Both this pack as stocking stuffers for my Grandson but took one out as a special surprise early on. He loves it. Even packs it in his backpack every day and takes it to school with him. Glides easily as you twist and turn. And it is a challenge. I'm sure he'll be just as trilled with the rest. I would highly recommend to anybody whose kids (or yourself) like these types of puzzles.

This was for my 8 year old son. He loves it. He is a beginner so the bundle is a nice set for someone just getting started. It is small enough to conveniently store in the box it is shipped in. I thought it was a great price for the product and it keeps my son entertained in the car, restaurants, etc...without having to be on an electronic device all the time.

This is a great birthday gift for my fidgety son who is always looking for a challenge. Great packaging and great variety!

My students truly enjoy trying to solve the rubik's shapes! The different shapes of each piece pose a greater challenge yielding heightened brain stimulation and focus of the individual playing! HIGHLY recommend as a fun yet stimulating toy! *****5/5 STARS*****

A great value pack that provides well lubricated cubes. Definitely recommend for anyone that is getting into speed cubing or even just as a gift.
