Spektrum Transmitter DX6C 6-Channel DSMR Transmitter Only SPMR6125

A very nice surface controller that supports multiple protocols. It has a great feature set for the price. Best thing about it is being able to control the majority of my cars with one controller.

Great for any spectrum systems and is great that it works with the SLT protocol and can be used on the 2 in 1 esc/rx on the arrma groms along with other spectrum 2 in 1s

Received In brand new perfect condition. I couldn’t download any updates or understand the product. Could just be me or maybe a not working transmitter. Really don’t know. So I had to return it for a full refund. Maybe sometime down the line, I might revisit one. Next time I go to the RC Hobby store, talk to them about a Spektrum transmitter. And see what they’re all about. Find out more information on which one is wright for me. I love all four of my Arrma RC cars. It would be nice to have just one RC radio to control all my cars. Still new to the RC hobby under one year now. Plus I’m 71 years of age. So far I love it!!

Great product, really hard to program

Good features for a radio this price. Using for my R/C boats. Have 2 set up so far and I'm very happy with it so far.

The “Battery Low” glitch is a known issue that’s never been addressed by the manufacturer. So you take several weeks taking each of your cars apart to bind them, calibrate, set end points, set and calibrate avc , test drive, adjust breaks , etc, and it’s digging up each process for each car and each model /version of receiver. After you have all 20 cars connected, and use it maybe a dozen times, you turn it on and some test window shows up. You dig for 30 minutes in the forums to figure out you have to push every input to test each to get out, and the end push clear and back , back and forth a few times, then push the wheel twice, you get out of test mode. Meanwhile the batteries die the first 2-3 times you try to get the test done. You load fresh batteries, figure out how to do the test fast, and finally it looks like you have the transmitter working. Then the battery low hits again, with a fresh set of batteries just minutes after installing. After you burn through a few sets of AA battles you realize the controller is actually fully discharging your batteries in 3 minutes or less. Then you search online and find hundreds of people with the same story, who spent as much time as you did programming, calibrating and testing all of your cars, and have the same “Battery Low” glitch. Ask your favorite AI search engine the transmitter model number and problem with battery low, and it will tell you there are dozens and dozens of forums dedicated to solving the issue and there is no fix. The controller if trash. So not it’s a warranty claim, hope you saved your receipt. Then you ask yourself , am I going to program all my cars again with the same controller in 6 weeks after I jump through hoops and get a replacement from horizon? Do u want to risk having this happen again? So long story short, it’s great if it works. If not stops working, you will wish you never bought the thing and concider changing brands if controllers after dealing with the lenght of time and lack of compensation for your true problems from the manufacturer. You haven’t taken the time to send the controller, even though they know this is a common issues, wait weeks for it to ships don get tested, then finally they send another and you hope it’s going to be a good one. Howbif your luck with that type of stuff? Mines not good. Works great until it dies for no reason, smokes fully charged / Brand new batteries to dead in 1-2 minutes.
