Bought this to go with an updated transformer and Google Nest Doorbell. Worked first time and haven’t had any issues. It works for our front and side doors, chimes for both. Easy installation. Just make sure all of your voltage matches up with all of your devices. The new video doorbells require a higher voltage even if they say they don’t. The transformer and chime will eventually wear out if it’s old and not high enough.

I bought this Newhouse 24V doorbell chime because I upgraded my doorbell transformer to the VIIVRIA 24V model to power my Ring doorbell. My old chime was only 16V and just wasn’t going to cut it anymore. This one was exactly what I needed. Super easy to install—I just swapped out the wires from the old one, mounted it on the wall, and it worked right away. The chime sounds nice and clear, not too loud but definitely noticeable throughout the house. It also looks clean and simple on the wall, which I appreciate. No weird buzzing or wiring issues either—it just works. If you're upgrading to a 24V transformer like I did, especially for a smart doorbell setup, this is a great chime to go with it. Super happy with how everything came together.

Works as described

It is ok. Just a basic mechanical chime. It is for 24V wiring, which is rare. The only one I have found. The only problem I have with it is the fact that the cover is very hard to remove once it is fully on. Maybe there is some trick for it that I am not aware of.
