Good and strong
Really good sturdy brackets, in Plastic! But they don't look overly plasticky. Seem nice and strong. Have had a similar pair holding some heavy 1" baskets outt he from the last couple of years. Big plus is no maintenance or weathering unlike metal or plastic coated which only seem to manage a year or two.

Stratford Support Brackets (Sold in Pairs)
Sold as window or shelving brackets, I purchased a pair of these from which to hang garden solar lanterns. They needed a small modification but this was done with a small hacksaw and sand paper (these brackets are fiber-glass so any cutting will need a face mask and eye protection) and now are ideal for the lanterns. Easy to attached to a wall, they are strong and well made, although I would not recommend them for hanging baskets of a large size.

These brackets are great, fixed them and now can forget them, as nothing to rust, but look like metal

Waste of time for heavy baskets
Bought these after reading reviews. Screws were useless. Hung up a basket and they are unable to take the weight. Dread to think what will happen when it rains and they get heavier. Would be great for a very lightweight basket with very little compost in. But for your average hanging basket with a bit of weight then get something more substantial
