16 oz Dried Tomatoes Julienne Cut in Olive Oil

Jar was wrapped in bubble wrap, but lid not not tight. Oil leaked into bubble wrap. I don't trust using the product, so I can't rate quality. Will not order again.

3.5 out of 5 stars. I always bought this brand from Costco at a reasonable price but the jar was too large (35 oz) to finish before the contents went bad so I stopped. I also had a few large jars where the top portion of tomatoes were hard and black from oxidation because the packing oil didn’t cover them sufficiently. I don’t know if they were spoiled but I didn’t chance it! This jar (½ size of Costco’s) is a perfect size but costs the same as Costco’s so ridiculously expensive. Further, the brand also manufactures half-cut tomatoes instead of julienne cut which I much prefer but the cost on Amazon is outrageous and certainly not worth it! Best choice is to buy the large jar at Costco and split them with a friend. Walmart also sells an 8.5 oz jar for $5+ when in stock (so two jars is less than this by far, relatively). Beyond all that, the quality is generally excellent and the taste is good; not too salty either like the vacuum packed kinds ( without oil). Now you’re armed with all my knowledge, haha!

Hands down the best tasting sun dried tomatoes. It’s not even close! Not sure what secrets they are hiding but I put these is dozens of dishes without disappointment. My local store is always sold out of them while other brands sit in the shelf at discounts.

Very good quality and value for money. Taste so amazing and I use it in my pastas. Very well soaking oil. Beautiful red color
