I wish I had ordered sooner
The sound is so clear, I do not have to turn up the volume loud at all. I have sound sensitivity and stapes calcification which makes me hard of hearing. These work well for both problems. I am still able to wear earplugs for all of the ambient sound that hurts my brain. I have used them over hats and it works well. I tried them under a hoody and it was decent, I had to keep adjusting. Calls were clear and crisp from my end and the callers end. I would recommend them. I have been using these for a few months now and they are part of everyday life. I haven’t been able to listen to music/podcasts/TV for 6 yrs. I am now able to do the music and podcasts. I guess the sound coming through the bone conduction makes it so my brain doesn’t have to work very hard. I cannot tell you how happy I am with them. Their battery life lasts and the sound is crisp and clear. I purchased another pair to have in my car to take calls as well as music/podcasts.

Meets my expectations
Overall, very nice. Sound quality wise, it is bass light, but that's expected for bone conduction devices. Doesn't go very loud, which might be a good thing to protect your hearing, and open headphones are not designed to be used in noisy environments to begin with. Built quality is solid and meets my expectations. Fit and comfort are good and no complaints as well.

Ok to decent
I was introduced to bone conduction headphones by another competitor brand, Shokz, as I got a set for free. I decided to try the suunto because my other set is starting to fall apart after years of use. Those headphones are ok to decent. Sound seems to be ok. I do like the on/ off sounds. It was confusing to pair with the Bluetooth on my phone as I was expecting a voice to say pairing but that never happened. But I was doing that off assumption as I never actually opened the instructions. The first feels good. I have a large head 7 5/8 and seem to fit well on my head and align well with my ears. Only real gripe for me is that I hate, hate, HATE proprietary charging cords. I wish these had a usb-c or micro usb. Anything but these magnetic cords.

Great value bone conduction headphones
I got these headphones for running, I have been using shokz open runs for several years now and I love them but they seem to die unexpectedly, so I wanted a second pair. I saw these Suunto Sonics, and was attracted by the price. When I received them I was confused, they are so alike openruns that it’s difficult to tell them apart (I posted a picture, spot the difference). The subtle differences are a different custom charging port (which in the only minor complaint I have, doesn’t hold in place as firmly as the shokz), and the Suuntos can connect to an app to adjust some settings (ok, there is a second tiny complaint, if it came in outdoor mode as default, you could ignore the app). These are solid bone conduction headphones and they sound great as long as you set expectations that they are to allow hearing things around you and not audiophile grade. Highly recommended for runners/walkers.

Great bone conduction headphones
Been using these as headphones at work and I love them. I've never seen the battery go lower than 50%, it lasts forever. Comfortable enough to wear for hours, and the sound quality is pretty good for the technology.

Clever
Didn't realize this company was Finnish and had acquired Sports Tracker some time ago. I had bought one of those things as Nokia was imploding to stock up on more Finnish designs. This is my first purchase of bone conduction headphone technology. My only other experience is at the dentist when she hits my tooth in the wrong place and my whole head vibrates, so I figured this would work. Overall I like them and I will compare them to my Sony Linkbuds, the ones with the "hole" in the middle, which I like a lot. Those I think are probably better for an office environment and phone calls, which I inadvertantly discovered they are perfect for, and these better for sports and music. Both let me hear the world around me. Overall I think they're great so I'll just touch on the quirks. Charger is some proprietary magnetic thing (I don't think this is considered pogo pin, but you get the idea), I wish it was USB-C When jogging the band in back sometimes flops down and bounces off the back of my neck, I try not to think about it and eventually forget Music sounds great, phone sounds muffled. It's punchy but don't expect deep bass The power is controlled with the volume up button, so you get a small little louder blast when shutting off the power. I don't understand why they didn't use the side button for power to avoid this quirk It's tough to press the side button the right number of times when running. I wish it had the Sony "face tapping" technology Otherwise I think they're great

perfect for what they are
i’ve been seeing these more and more over the past few years but never really felt the need to actually get them since i thought i preferred noise-cancelling headphones. however, after trying these out, i couldn’t be happier with this particular pair. i have to mention that these aren’t for those who want the highest of audio quality when listening to music. that being said, i’m pretty picky with sound quality and i found these to still be great. these are obviously open-ear, which means you’re not gonna be getting really deep and intense bass, but i feel like that should be expected. one thing that others have pointed out is that they have their own proprietary charging cable. that means, if it gets damage, you’re gonna have to get a replacement specifically for these, which may or may not be a hassle. i haven’t looked into it so i’m not sure if they’re even sold separately, but just something worth mentioning. if you tend to lose cables or damage them frequently, i’d look into extras it just in case. one other small gripe is the controls on the headphones themselves. they’re a bit small and may be awkward for those with larger hands/fingers. but yeah, the reason i got these, and maybe why i’m assuming others get them, is because they wanna be aware of their surroundings while still being able to listen to whatever it is they wanna listen to. i will say, their are times when i’m using these and i actually forget that i can hear what’s going on around me, so they are quite immersive in that sense. i use these at home as well as outside, and so far they’ve lived up to my expectations. i think it’s worth mentioning that, while they’re generally pretty quite, there is a bit of sound bleed if you listing to your stuff at a high volume. i feel like they’re less that earbuds, but if you’re using them on the bus or walking around, you don’t have to worry about it at ambient noise is usually more than enough to drown it out for others. also, another thing that’s important for me is that i wear glasses most of the time, and these are lightweight and super comfortable. i avoid actual over-the-ear headphones because they tend to squish my glasses which leads to ear fatigue as well as just an overall uncomfortable experience for any period of time. i don’t have any issues with these so far, and because of that, they’ve exceeded my expectations. but yeah, the sound quality is great for what they are, they allow you to be more aware of your surroundings, comfortable with eyewear, and have minimal sound bleed. if you can get them on sale, and you’ve been wanting to try this style out, i’d definitely give them a try.

Very good sport headset.
Bass is not as powerful as in-ear or overhead headphones, but the sound quality for playing music is similar. Sound loud enough for cycling, even at mid-low volume. Mic reception seems good; there are no complaints on the other side during phone calls when using indoors and inside my car. Setting up Bluetooth connection is easy, just like other smartphone headsets. The additional feature I want is to display the headset's power level on my phone. And my only complaint is that the design of the magnetic charging connector is too loose; a slight move on my table will separate the contact points and stop charging. I want to give 4.5 stars, but only 4 or 5 to choose from, so the retail price earns the 1/2 star.

Très satisfait
Très bon achat, mon conjoint est âgé et c'est parfait pour lui. Facile à porter et impossible de les perdre lorsqu'il les porte contrairement au AirPods. Peut-être juste les boutons pour le volume qui sont petits

10/10 would buy again
So I was skeptical about budget bone conduction headphones - however owning a Suunto running watch and having a positive experience with that I wasn’t hesitant to give these a chance They did NOT disappoint. I’d put the sound quality at similar qualities to the mid range Shokz headphones which are $100 more even when on sale! Very comfortable fit, excellent battery life, would recommend these to anyone running/cycling/or wanting headphones with the open ear experience. I’ll never do active sports without these again… They stay in place and keep me safe The sound quality isn’t the same as in ear buds - but that’s okay! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised if you listen to louder stuff.. I will say quieter music isn’t exactly ideal with cars zipping by but that’s not a fault of the product Recommended to give these a try
