I am a Black woman with a Perm, and my hair is below shoulder length. The first thing I liked about this dryer was how light it was. Second, was how quickly it dried my hair. With my old dryer it would take me 40 to 50 minutes to dry my hair, partially because I would have to stop because my old dryer was heavy. With this dryer, it is light, and I was done in about 10 to 20 minutes. I was amazed!!! The other thing I noticed was how soft my hair was. I also liked how the attachments worked. They are magnetic, and did not pop off, another plus. This dryer is very quiet compared to my old dryer. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I love this hair dryer and would recommend this dryer.

I am serious about my hair products and styling tools...I want the best styling tools to give me a salon results. I have natural 3C/4A type hair that is almost waist-length. It's a pain to blow-out my hair...usually takes 20 to 25 minutes with a top-notch blow-dryer like T3 Cura Luxe and Pattern Beauty's dryer. Everyone knows the key to a great blowout is how great you blow-dry your hair before styling it. I literally timed how fast it took my hair to get dry with this hair-dryer....it took approximately 11 minutes and 26 seconds. Even then I think it was user error on the 1st section of my hair because I part my hair into 4 sections before drying it which lengthened the time of drying my hair. I learned don't get cute this dryer by going to the highest speed of this blow-dryer...it was drying my hair quicker than I anticipated. I used the next highest speed at the highest heat setting for a majority of the time and only used the highest speed setting to quicken-up the drying process of each section after my hair was basically straight. Then I used the cold blast on each section of my hair after drying it to ensure my hair was dry...again only 11 minutes and 26 seconds. That's a record time for me and it was one of the best blowouts I've ever gave myself. Like my hair was flowing, silky and had so much body after styling it with my T3 flat-iron. I went to lunch with friends the next day and they thought I had a bomb weave in my hair...they were like "....is that all your hair or is it extensions???". When I told them no this is all me...they were like "wow" and in disbelief. Thanks Tymo I believe this is the best hair dryer on the market...do yourself a favor and click the purchase button.

Couldn’t resist writing a review. 🤩 I have natural, shoulder length 4C hair with like 10% 4B mixed in. I have been looking for a blow dryer with an attachment that doesn’t annoyingly fall off while drying my hair. I wanted the blow dryer to also have a good amount of heat, but not burn my hair or smoke up my bathroom during use. I considered the Dyson Supersonic with comb attachment. But it was nearly 4 times the price and I saw it had the same wattage as this dryer. So I decided to try this one. I am so glad I did! The comb attachment stayed put! The heat was more than adequate! In fact, I couldn’t even use the highest temperature. The ionic drying left my hair relatively smooth and soft. It feels like moisture is baked in. I also love how lightweight, small and easy to handle, yet powerful this dryer is. I also tried the nozzle attachment running it up and down the length as I stretched my hair, this worked very well also. Very happy with purchase. Highly recommend.

Great hair dryer. If you have 4c hair, the nozzle pops off while blow drying. Better off using a good roll brush with the dryer. Other than that it works great.

The best blow dryer I've ever owned! It's powerful and efficient. The attachments give me options for straight and curly styling. I travel a lot & hate hotel hair dryers. The compact size is perfect! Highly recommend!!

The best hair dry ever. I don’t think I’ve had a hair dryer that gets as hot as this one. You are able to adjust the heat and flow of the air. Drys your hair in half the time. My hair comes out straight as if I’ve used a flat iron on it. And all the attachments are great and easy to install seeing as they are magnetic.

UPDATE AFTER 10 MO: While I originally loved this dryer, after about 10 months since I ordered it (just looked back at my amazon history!) it really doesn't work very well anymore. The air pressure is much lower than when I first bought it, despite cleaning the filter thoroughly. It also seems like it has gotten louder and has a high pitch whistle to it now. I emailed their customer service and they asked for a video. I explained it's hard to show air pressure loss over video but sent one anyway. Then they said they wanted another video that specifically demonstrates the air pressure problem which I'm not really sure how to capture... Back and forth several times via email, it seems like they're not actually willing to help. I would ship the dryer to them but they want videos for some reason.. For now using my elchim travel dryer but would not recommend purchasing this. It's a knockoff of more expensive dyson/other brands using fanless motors - I guess you get what you pay for. ---- Original Review: I have used high end T3 and Elchim hair dryers for the past 10+ years. After my T3 started to have heat coil / burning smell issues, I was researching the Dyson dryer and came upon this. To be honest at first my thought was “Chinese dyson knockoff” but decided to give it a shot and am glad I did, this thing is excellent! Compact and light but extremely powerful and has low/med/high fan speed plus off/low/med/high heat setting. It is so quiet compared to my last T3 model. It feels rock solid and like it was made with high quality materials. It dries my long, thick wavy hair quickly and the diffuser works quite nicely too. Overall I’m super impressed! It even remembers your last heat and fan speed setting when unplugged and plugged back in the next day so if you have a “usual” setup you don’t have to re-adjust every time you plug it in to use. To me, that’s “luxury”.

I mainly bought it for the diffuser as was debating between this and the Dyson. Unfortunately, Dyson does not sell specific attachments, which is a bit silly and annoying. Found this Tymo gem whilst Amazon surfing. Small and lightweight with a sufficient long cord. It has a concentrator and an adjustable diffuser (also a comb thing that I don't use). Dries hair quickly when I want to wear it straight. You can control the temperature and the flow rate, which is important to create non-frizzy waves when diffusing. Don't think it's super quiet though - sounds like a hairdryer!

I love the different settings on the dryer. It’s also not as noisy as the traditional ones. The only downside is the magnetic head sometimes comes loose while using it on my course 4C hair.
