Well People Expressionist Lengthening Mascara, Black

I'm 65 years young. I switched to cleaner, holistic cosmetics over 30 years ago, starting with Gabriel Cosmetics and Aveda. Gabriel is still around. Unfortunately, Aveda eventually sold out to Estee Lauder. Today, the market has many new brands offering cleaner makeup. Finding a mascara with a durable, lasting formula, great brush and affordable price has been a challenge. The Wells Peoples mascara fits the bill for all 3. I love the skinny brush and the mascara is easy to apply, doesn't clump or irritate my eyes and has great staying power. It gives me nice, long, separated lashes all without having to use an eyelash curler! I feel the $20 price is just a tad bit high, however, it wont break the bank and the formula ingredients are EWG Certified. Highly recommend this cleaner, non-toxic mascara.

Great product: nice ingredients, super black, does what it says, does not damages eyelashes, easy to take it off and its doctors approved. I have tried so many mascaras and always had a bad experience with "clean" ones but I have absolutely loved this mascara, I will re buy once I finish it. Has the quality of a 40$ mascara.

I love this mascara! It doesn't smudge or flake, and goes on easily. I also love that it's from a brand that is considered a cleaner option, without a lot of chemicals in the product. I love all the Well People products I've tried, and this one is no exception.

My eyes are very sensitive and they tolerate this mascara. Big win! My only issue with it is the brush. It leaves my lashes clumpy and over deposited with mascara with just one swipe. The bristles are short and it is not very effective as an eyelash brush.

EWG certified! Great quality product that isn't filled with garbage ingredients. I think it gives my eye lashes volume. I am a repeat customer and highly recommend. Wish the price was cheaper but I suppose I must pay for quality.

When I first received the mascara and tried using it, the wand came out clean. It is as if there is nothing in the tube or the mascara is so dried up that it is not going on the brush at all. I had to ask for a refund.

Nice packaging and great ingredients! However, you can tell from the clean ingredients that within after less than a week of usage of the product it has gotten very clumpy and dry. If you are going for a more natural lash I would not advise.

love this mascara! One thing that really stood out to me is that it contains ingredients like jojoba oil, vitamin E, and sunflower seed oil. I was a little skeptical at first because a lot of people assume that if a mascara has cleaner, more natural ingredients, it won’t perform as well as traditional brands. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case at all! This mascara still gave my lashes great length, definition, and lift without feeling heavy or irritating. It made my lashes look beautiful while also giving me peace of mind about the ingredients I’m putting so close to my eyes.
