Decent, Cheap Boat Trailer Winch
This is on a small trailer that carries a twelve foot Jon boat. I would rate it as light duty, but it is more than enough for my little aluminum boat. The price was cheapest than anywhere else. I would buy it again.

Broke easily
"Unfortunately, this trailer winch did not hold up well. Installation was straightforward, and it seemed sturdy at first, but it broke after only a short period of use. I was using it within its intended purpose and expected it to last much longer. The failure was disappointing and left me questioning the overall build quality and durability. While the price may be attractive, I would have preferred a more reliable product that could withstand regular use. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this winch if you need something dependable."

Well built, easy to mount and operate.
This was an excellent choice. I measured the old winch and matched it's dimensions with this winch. It mounted very easily. It looks good and appears to be well built. It pulls my 16' Smokercraft out with absolutely no problems. The strap is the perfect length for my boat and easily strong enough to handle my boat.

Made a tire crane for my shed's loft
Perfect for a retractable crane I made to safely get tires and other awkward items up into my shed's loft. It was a little annoying that the entire mechanism had to come apart to get to the bolt holes but for the price still worth 5 stars.
