This was the best chocolate cake mix I have ever had! Super moist did not have the texture of most gluten-free cake mixes. Rich and velvety would definitely buy this again! And the price was right.

Bought these for wine group where 2 people are gluten-free. Everyone loved them. The gluten free folks said they were better than some they had gotten from a bakery. The others said they would not have guessed they were gluten free. Very moist and not too sweet or grainy. Highly recommend.

Some folks just don't like gluten in their diet, whereas others can't eat it or have problems. Often this equals being unable to eat many baked goods, and that's unfortunate, especially during the year-end holidays. I decided I wanted to make something special for a friend of mine, so I went with this King Arthur gluten-free chocolate cake mix, which I turned into cupcakes, with additional chips and a buttercream frosting. Well, they were a big hit, and the texture both delicious and moist. You'd never know it didn't have any gluten in it. It baked very well and the timing listed was accurate. Overall, the results were light, yet flavorful. I would definitely buy again.

This cake is a keeper. So delicious. Rich, moist and easy to mix. I used extra virgin olive oil in mine. It seems a little sticky on top after it cools so I put the top on my cake pan and placed it in the freezer for an hour. The frosting went on smoothly and stayed perfectly fluffy. I took it to a family gathering and it was the hit of the meal. Everyone raved about how good it was. Will be a staple in my pantry.

Out of all the cake box brands I've used King Arthur is by far the best in taste and quality. Good quality healthier ingredients is always a huge plus in my book. Follow the directions on the box it's easy to use and understand, you shouldn't have any problems. Really this brand is a huge hit, I've used this for peoples surprise birthday cakes/family gatherings and have gotten nothing but compliments on taste and texture asking me what I used and if I made the cake from scratch which is a huge compliment in my opinion but I tell them nope it's a box cake mix and they are always impressed. There's never any cake left to take home so that should tell you something. Overall I give a 5 out 5, this is the only brand of cake mix I use.

This is easily one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever eaten in my life. It’s insane to think this cake came from a box mix, but it’s also GLUTEN FREE?!?! I am amazed! It is so yummy! The cake holds shape perfectly and yet it’s still decadent and moist. Just take a look at the photo I put on this review and it shows you exactly what I mean. I made cupcakes with the mix. I cooked it for the exact minimum amount of time and every single cupcake came out perfectly even though I personally don’t tend to fill the tins all equally. You seriously cannot mess this mix up- it is so easy to make and so amazingly delicious. Thank you for my new yearly birthday cake mix! It truly is decadent! 😋

This cake mix is the best chocolate cake mix that I have ever tried (gluten free or conventional). The flavor is so rich and the texture is lovely. I have had people confused by the fact that it was gluten free and prepared as allergen free. King Arthur products cost a little bit more, but the quality is unmatched.
