Brought for my 14 year old cat and he loves it. He’s never been one for cat beds but loves the sides to rest his head on and that fact it’s made of cardboard that he can scratch is perfect for him

Superb product. I have bought MANY cardboard boxes and thrones for our cat. This is by far the best one. Elegant. Great colour (caramel looks like a mini leather sofa!). Comes with plastic re-usable bolts and a screwdriver (thank you). Took 3 minutes to assemble and was great fun to do. You can re-jig it to flip the cardboard inners to provide 4 fresh flat surfaces to scratch. She has sat in it happily. Very posh. Her Ladyship approves!

My cats love this one so much that it's their bed every night, and scratching during the day! Worth it!

This is Ebony. My 14 year old loved & spoilt cat. She loves cat scratchers shaped like a chaise longer, but would roll off it when she went to sleep. I saw this and thought I’d try it. Absolutely perfect. I put a little cat nip in just to encourage her to investigate, but needn’t have bothered. She loved it straight away as you can see on video. Although pricey, it comes with a spare base and both bases can be turned over. It is well made and good screws that come with it, even 2 spare screws with a few driver. I highly recommend this scratcher/lounger. In case you notice Ebony’s baldy tummy. She has an allergy which is being treated.

I bought this for one of my mum's cats (well, a cat who adopted her). He had been using a flatter, smaller scratching tray as a bed, which was really too small for him. So I bought this, put it together (without the toys), and put it next to his old scratching tray. He showed no interest at all. I also put him on it a couple of times, just in case he thought he wasn't allowed to use it (he's very polite for a stray), but still no interest. But eventually after about a month he's started to use it, and it's now become on of his favourite places for sleeping. As you can see from the picture it's still quite a tight fit, but there is some room for him to stretch out if he overlaps the raised ends. Admittedly he's quite a chunky and solid cat. It was fairly easy to put together, and the large plastic screws seem to work well. If there's going to be a point of weakness I reckon it'll be either the front or back board, which hold the sections of scratcher together. The main flat area of the scratcher is made up of 2 thick double-sided layers of scratcher cardboard, so in theory you could change the base scratching layer another 3 times. But it would involve largely dismantling the scratcher each time, which is quite an effort compared to just flipping over the board in more conventional ones. And I don't know how the unit would hold up to being unscrewed and put back together again frequently. Overall though I think if your cat likes to lie on their scratcher board then this is a good option as it gives them a raised section they can use as a pillow, and the raised sides and back should also make the cat feel a bit more protected while sleeping.

The best scratching area ever. I’ve had 3 cats over many years but most things i buy never get used but I’ve bought 4/5 and they were well used and enjoyed. Great addition to my cats enjoyment. Remember not all cats explore thing straight away

My female long haired cat loves these so much. She sleeps in it, plays from it and loves getting her snacks when she’s chilling. It’s my second one because she shredded the first! Highly recommend.

The quality is disappointing for the price. The cardboard sheds a lot of small pieces every time my cats use it, and I have to clean up cardboard debris from the floor every single day. Definitely not worth the price.
