TRADITIONAL GHEE BY GOLD NUGGET GHEE, USDA ORGANIC, FULL-YEAR/PASTURE-RAISED, GRASS-FED BUTTER 16oz

Almost done with this Ghee. Aroma was just fine, taste was as it should be, value for the money is expected being its organic.

Absolutely wonderful, the best tasting ghee I ever had. It's very expensive but the quality is so good, I'll continue purchasing it. it has a beautiful silky smooth texture, very fragrant, not greasy or grainy at all like many other brands, you can cook with it and the cooked food gets a unique rich and deep taste, I use it for frying Indian/Pakistani whole wheat flatbread (called paratha, see attached image) and they turn out so good, also sometimes eat it as a snack right from the jar, it is so addictive I can eat multiple spoonfuls. I tried the 4th and heart brand, that's also of good quality but only for cooking or when mixed in a hot liquid, if you eat it on its own as a snack then it has a very greasy or grainy feel that irritates your throat. Gold Nugget, on the other hand, is great as a snack. I store the jar in a semi-cool place (not the fridge), it would melt if kept close to the stove (which is expected for ghee/butter) but if you put it again in a cool place, then it solidifies again, but I'd suggest not letting it melt and keeping on the counter/shelf that's a little bit away from the stove.

I'm becoming a connoisseur of ghee. My friends mock my love of ghee and throw terms around like, "addict", "snob" and "weirdo" but I don't let it phase me. So, I've tried several brands and this is my favorite. I like 4th generation vanilla bean but for sweet treats and such. Overall, plain ghee, this texture is silky, smooth and velvety in terms of mouth feel. Flavor is full butter. You can taste the freshness. I use it to sautee everything - spinach, kale, asparagus and mushrooms. I use it for eggs too. Sometimes, I eat it out if the jar. This stuff is true to it's name - gold nugget of goodness.

I originally bought this to use in my morning coffee, but the flavor of the butter is so delicious I'm using to add finishing flavor to veggies, as a spread, etc. I went through my 8 oz jar in a few weeks and going with the 16 oz jar from now on. It's fantastic! A foodie friend recently gifted me with an assortment of delicious artisan butter from small producers in France, Norway, and Japan, and Golden Nugget's ghee is just as flavorful, if not better. I highly recommend it!

For years I've made my own grass fed ghee from Kerrygold unsalted butter and I thought it couldn't be better, but I was wrong. Gold Nugget Ghee is better. Beautiful color, flavor, it doesn't have a strong "nutty" flavor, which is really just the residual flavor from frying the milk solids too long in the clarified butter. And, it's from my home state of California, which is an added bonus.

Great quality love that it is organic I feel the price is a little high but I would by again.

Green grass year round !!!

I bought this ghee to have in place of butter for my January Whole30 and I love it! I put it in my fatty coffee and also put it on vegetables and it soups. It adds such a great flavor! I can't wait to try the other flavors as well but will need to wait until after January is over. Thanks for a great product.
