Think I found my new favorite mechanical pencil!
Great mechanical pencils for a great price. Writes a bold smooth line. The rectangle lead lasts a long time. I put a lot of pressure while I write and I haven't had any breaks with the lead or with refill lead that came in the bundle, not the norm for me. Very comfortable to hold while writing, very light and well made. The eraser under the cap (has pocket clip) could be little bigger, or maybe I just make too many mistakes. Either way there's refill erasers available for purchase so for me this was not a problem. The bundle 2 full size lead refills and 2 white erasers that have worked perfectly with no smudging, ripping paper, and no lead shadowing showing after. Definitely found my favorite new mechanical pencils!

The best pencils ever.
Seriously. Don’t buy any other pencil. So far, I’ve purchased 6 of these. I keep one on each of my tool belts, one in the truck, one in each of my notebooks, and one on my desk. I’ve probably spent $100 trying all sorts of different thick leaded pencils. Cheap carpenters pencils are versatile and serve a variety of purposes but, 99% of the time I grab one of these beasts. The lead works surprisingly well on wet pressure treated lumber, as wells as, in the rain on my waterproof notepads. The only negative… not enough of a negative to remove a star but still a negative, is how easily the cap comes off. For me, this is of zero concern in most environments. My tool belts hold the pencils without the necessity of the clip. Though, it does become annoying if you slide one into a pants pocket and squat down, as I tend to do 100s of times throughout the day.All in all, if this manufacture sponsored me somehow, I’d put their logo on my truck like Busch on a nascar.Update July 2020To solve the one problem I had, I used arrow tip glue and just glued all the caps to the pencils. This is of no concern to me considering I never use the erasers. To feed the lead, just insert from the tip.I’ve had two pencils in my belt since I started renovating this house 3 months ago. I have still not had to replace the lead that came in the two pencils. They’re used for any sort of marking that you could imagine. Though, they’re not ideal for OSB, LVL or finished hardwood. The lead is too small for the rough material and the marks just don’t really show on sealed or finished surfaces. If the manufacturers can produce this same pencil but with 4x the lead thickness, I’d buy them all. Just saying… Looking at you “Deli” or whoever actually produces these.

Great for marking rectangular scantron answer sheets
The mechanical pencil looks like a mini carpenter pencil with a rectangular cross-section. It is super convenient to turn the broad tip on a rectangular scantron box to fill it in with only one to two strokes. For those calligraphy lovers, the pencil offer a cursive italic / stub nib for practicing your letters. The thicker lead won't create sharp italics as calligraphy pen nibs but there is still line variation not found in other mechanical pencils. You can also rotate the barrel to write with the narrower tip. This simulates the architect nib with broad horizontal and narrow vertical strokes. This orientation is great for those who prefer to print their words rather than write in cursive. The pencil is well-made but the boxy/oval barrel may take some getting used to. Besides the two pencils, the set also comes with 2 block erasers (similar to the Pentel hi-polymer erasers) and 2 tubes of 1.8 mm flat lead. I just wish that it also include two erasers to replace those installed in the pencil. These unique mechanical pencils will add a nice touch to your writing. If you are a calligraphy or fountain pen lover, you would definitely love these cool pencils.

Pencil good. Eraser fantastic.
I like the pencil. Think of it as a mechanical pencil you can use for calligraphy.Compared to the other brands and styles I have tried, the eraser is superior for removing handwriting quickly and completely while not harming the paper. I am now trying to match up Deli products to understand how to buy the eraser by itself.

Decent pencil but not for me
It is decent pencil but not for me. Used once and never again. Uncomfortable to hold and the led is oval shaped so it is awkward to use for me.

Works beautifully
I may not understand the language written on it but it is a nearly perfect copy of the zebra MLP 2 drafting pencil. Nearly unbreakable lead and the eraser is EXCELLENT.

The Deli Pencils Perform Better Than the Rest!
My kids (6 and 10YO) did a series of online art camps over the summer and these pencils were included with their supply kits. We purchased a set of the Deli pencils and they prefer this brand much more. The pencils are thicker and fit well into their hands, making it easy to sketch without any cramps. It’s so helpful that the pencils have a squared barrel and won’t roll off the table. They learned various methods for using the thick pencil lead and this brand performed better. We highly recommend the Deli mechanical pencils and will he purchasing the lead refills in the future.
