Quality heavy duty clutch!
This is a great replacement for the fan clutch in my 1997 Land Cruiser. You can upgrade the fluid and adjust the cut-in temperature on these clutches for hot climates.

Equal to oem part
Aisin is known Worldwide for oem quality , Reliability or better . At a reasonable price, fitment always works well.

Used on JZJ80 Land Cruiser after the Blue Shaft mods referenced on the IH8MUD forums.
Seems wrong to immediately take apart a new fan clutch to tweak it. But I adjusted the clutch to kick in earlier and changed the fluid to 15k weight (ASSOCIATED 5447 FT Silicone Diff Fluid 15,000cST,White ). Works great and because this is the famous blue shaft clutch, I'll never need another one. Just replace the fluid if it becomes weak.

The exact same unit as factory, just without the TOYOTA logo.
Perfect fit and same as factory OEM. Aisin was the original supplier for the FZJ80 Land Cruisers. The only difference is that these come with the "TOYOTA" ground flat and an AISIN logo placed nearby. Be sure to find replacement nuts because removing the factory nuts is a pain in the butt. They are very soft and prone to rounding over. Use a six point wrench and you'll have a better experience. This is a high quality fan clutch for sure.

Replaced the original factory fan clutch in my 1997 Land Cruiser with this and huge difference in engine temps and air conditioning temperatures in 100+ degree days. No brainer replacement

Perfect for your 80 series Land Cruiser
This is the fan clutch you need. Then you just need to get on Mud and learn how to modify it with a little heavier fluid and have it open a bit earlier and your overheating concerns should be gone (provided the rest of your cooling system is working correctly).

Arrived intact although the packaging was really bashed up
I bought this fan clutch for my 1994 80 Series about a month ago. It arrived in its original packaging but for some reason the box was really out of shape. Otherwise the item itself was intact. I installed it onto my car the same day and it doesn’t overheat anymore and secondly it solved a lot of A/C related issues as well as my steering too. If you have similar issues like me, go ahead and buy this. It’s worth it and solves a lot of underlying problems
