Going from the conventional method of dredging the item through the breading mix, with the resultant mess and breaded fingers, to one where none of that is present is a godsend. It made making my fried chicken tenders and pork chops so much easier and cleanup a breeze.I tend save the left over breading mix in the freezer and this makes it a one stop process of collapsing the container and putting it in the deep freezer. When time to use again a quick sift gets all of the old bits of clumped breading out.As to the container itself, it has a nice sturdy feel with the lid having a good clamping/locking force. One should still make sure to hold in addition to the container the when shaking so as to not unduly stress the locking mechanism. Nothing could be worse than it releasing its contents at terminal velocity all over one's kitchen.

I don't make fried foods as often as I used to. since I've changed my diet, I tend to steer away from it. However, I've been learning how to "fry" things in the air fryer! My newest obsession is making fried chicken strips, fried zucchini, and pickles. I hate the way that my hands get gummed up from the process when doing the coating. So to have this is a game changer in every sense of the word. Where was this when I used to make stuff all the time? lolSeriously, it's amazing. I love that it collapses and can be put away for storage so easily. It's not bulky or hard to use. I can get all that excess off easily. I also make a shake-and-bake type of chicken for the oven and it's perfect. I'm really happy with this!

Fried fish, fried chicken, anything that needs to be coated with a batter - this bowl is a time saver and makes cleaning up very easy.First, it's collapsible, making storage easy. It comes with a grated insert that can fit low to the bottom of the bowl, or up higher when you flip it over. The top is leak proof. No spices flying all over the kitchen when you shake the bowl.To use this, first put your spice / flour mix in the bottom of the bowl. Then place the grated insert in the bowl, laying your meat or vegetables on top of the grate. Put the lid on the bowl and fasten it shut. Then shake and flip. When you open the lid you will have perfectly coated meat or veggies. (it helps if the meat or veggies are a little damp.)I really like this product.

This is a great timesaver in the kitchen!I would normally use several bowls/containers to do what this batter bowl allows me to do with a single pan now. It not only saves you time in making the food, but also in your cleanup as well!You add your batter/breadcrumbs in the bottom section, put in the breading tray, add your prepared items, put on the lid and shake. Open it up and remove your now coated/breaded items and cook. You then just have to clean up the batter bowl.I love the design of this! It's a very welcome addition to my kitchen!

The media could not be loaded.  I like this collapsible batter container. It’s a great size and allows you to batter a large amount of items. The best thing is, no more messy paper bags and I actually tend to use less flour and cornmeal, while keeping the mess in the bowl and off of my hands. I use this mainly for fish but it works for practically anything that needs to be battered or seasoned. Everything fits perfectly together after each use, making it easy for storing and because its dishwasher safe, clean-up is a breeze.In conclusion, I like this batter bowl. The material is quality made and the pieces fit well together for easy assembly. If you make meals which require battering, I would give this a try. It will definitely keep the messiness at bay.Note: it states that it’s not dishwasher safe under the details, but when you receive the actual product, according to the packaging, it is dishwasher safe.

This is a great prep container. It collapses to save on space when storing. Works as described. The lid latches are good for plastic. They snap and lock better than I thought they would.
