I never write reviews, I mean NEVER. But, I had to write about this brow pencil. First of all, the blond is actually blond, not orange, or grey, or green, like some of the other brow pencils I’ve gotten. I have golden blond hair, and it’s slightly darker than my hair, so it looks very natural. Secondly, it is definitely sweatproof, and it does stay on in water. If you rub your brows when they’re wet, like I accidentally did, it’ll rub off a little bit. But otherwise, it’s the most waterproof brow pencil I’ve tried. It lasts all day too, and it doesn’t fade. For the low price, it is definitely worth it.

I have always ordered the regular version of this- NON waterproof for years & years on end. This one is not in my opinion completely actually "waterproofed" but more very water resistant & despite extreme temperatures- stays put all day long. It didn't stay on in the pool. It works like a mechanical pencil & the other end has a spoolie. I have a quick routine & even if I had no budget I would still pick this pencil regardless. The dark brown looks great with very deep black dyed dark hair like i have.

Tip broke off as soon as I applied. The blonde is darker than I expected but still nice. I do like how it goes on. Nice price.

Love this product! For years I’ve purchased the original non-waterproof version of this eyebrow pencil, and I love that one as well. However my family and I were going on a vacation to the Gulf Shores and I thought between the heat (sweating) and the salt water I might want waterproof. Well, I was beyond pleasantly surprised! It stayed on through sweating and swimming no smudges no running nothing just perfect eyebrows! And, in my opinion, it was smoother and easier to apply! I also want to mention that simply washing my face with face wash took it off, no makeup remover needed! Honestly, I might just switch to always using the waterproof, as it was so nice! If you use an eyebrow pencil, I would highly recommend this one.

Love this product. Glides on smooth, stays on the entire day and most importantly the pencil doesn't break during application which I have experienced with other brands. This is my new go to eye brow pencil!

The color for taupe is a little more auburn so thats a bit of a bummer. But I think the pencil and its staying power is far worth it. Ive bought plenty of other brands and although I love the color I prefer this one. It doesn't get that oily icky look after hours of wear. Sticking with this one and for the price its PERFECT

Great eyebrow pencil . I have been buying these for years but now that waterproof pencil Doesn’t cost much I buy it and it is great! For reference taupe color is like a natural shade. And it looks good on me. I am fair skin and brown hair girly!

De e.l.f. Instant Lift Waterproof Brow Pencil is prima! Hij brengt soepel aan en geeft goed kleur af. Ik heb donkerbruin, deze kleur is best donker maar kan toch bij mijn lichte haar. Mijn wenkbrauwen tonen gelift. De punt is niet te hard en met het borsteltje kun je na het aanbrengen je wenkbrauwen in shape borstelen. En het blijft prima zitten!

As a teenager in the 80's where plucking our eyebrows pencil thin was the fashion well into the 90's my eyebrows never recovered.. I was looking for a pencil that really would be waterproof for a holiday in Greece where I'd spend a lot of time in and out of the water, This pencil definitely did the trick and was a perfect match for my natural eyebrows colour (dark brown) it stayed put all day and never wiped off when drying my face on a towel but came off easily without too much rubbing when washing my face with my usual face cleanser. Easy to use and no annoying sharpening that usually snaps the tip of any liners off. Highly recommended. *Update of review* 8mths later and I'm still buying the brow pencil! As others have mentioned it doesn't last that long but for the quality it's 2nd to none! and let's face it it's pretty reasonably priced so isn't breaking my bank to replace it or even stock up on it, buy 2 and it lasts as long as your average pencil but as I said it's quality and staying power is what has me coming back, something only the really stupidly expensive makes actually deliver, so I'm happy to buy 2 of these pencils at a time for the fraction of the cost of the "Designer brand" makeup.

I absolutely love this pencil in Taupe. The color gives the most natural finish and works beautifully across a range of hair colors, from blonde to light and medium brown. It blends seamlessly and never looks overdone when applied with a light hand. The spoolie on the other end is genuinely useful. I use it to brush and shape the brows before and during application, which helps guide the hairs into place and creates a much more polished result. The creamy texture glides on smoothly with minimal effort and distributes evenly without any clumping. The pigment is rich enough to fill sparse areas but the key is not to press too hard, otherwise it is easy to overdo it. A light touch gives the most natural look. The staying power is impressive. Throughout the day the color holds up well even if you accidentally touch your brows. Only if you deliberately rub them will the color come off. My brows look the same in the evening as they did in the morning. I have gone through many of these pencils and the quality and price are consistently excellent. My only wish is that e.l.f. would release the same formula in a wooden pencil that you sharpen, since the retractable format tends to run out faster. That said, it will not stop me from repurchasing. Also worth mentioning, e.l.f. is vegan and cruelty-free, which is always a welcome bonus.
