Outstanding!
I had been looking for a usb stick of this calibar for a while and after some research I dicided to go with the Corsair 512GB USB 3.1 Voyager GTX and wow! This thing is a beast of a USB... Actually, it's more of an SSD squeezed down into the size of a USB flash drive, the build quality is instantly noticeable with be being incased in solid zinc alloy which gives it a nice weighty feel compared to the flimsy plastic usb drives we are all used to, its super fast! Ssd type speeds although when moving lots of large files in bulk I did notice a dip but it still blows all other usb drives I've used out the water, also when transfering larg bulk files it hearts up but nothing major it can still be handled no problem... Pros: It's fast, very fast, its ssd fast, its an ssd! It's ssd storage in a USB stick! It's a quality solid buil, the solid zinc alloy may actually be a heat sink! It's got 5 years warranty! Wowzers! Cons: It's expensive! (worth it imo) It's a little bulky compared to other USBs so could overlap some other usb ports on devices (I use a USB hub so no issues here) Don't lose the USB cap! (it fits snug) It heats up under load (can still easily be handled) Got a bit carried away with this review haha but hopefully some people find it helpful. Peace out nerdlings...

Reliable Corsair
Speed is a welcome feature given I have to sometimes synchronise hundreds of files a day. Solid quality build with a sturdy metal case. You will be surprised that it is on the heavy side. Again a sign of quality because this is due to the case and possibly heat sink desingn. The best aspect is activity LED which is obvious and helps prevent data loss by indicating flash memory is active (recently other cheap companies asus using zero LEDs to save money).

Impressive speeds
By far the fastest storage device I’ve ever used, might even be quicker than the SSD in my MacBook. My old USB (Samsung BAR 128GB) device suddenly stopped working so I got this to replace it. With my previous USB, I used to have to wait a long time for files to copy. Not an issue with this... Managed to copy almost 80GB to the stick in just over 20 minutes 🤯. The only con I would say is that it’s quite a bit bigger/heavier than what I had before, although it’s still pretty small. I keep it on my key ring and definitely notice the weight difference. Overall I’d say for the upgrade in speed, it’s worth the trade off. Conclusion: Buy this USB!

Hands down the best for DJs
i have used over 20 different USB Flash Drives over the past couple of years, they all fall short, for loading, reliability and general use. This Corsair, is of course more expensive than most, BUT, as a DJ i need speed and reliability. WHen using these in a club situation, when i press ' load' a track is loaded instantly. ( due to its SSD speed ) no other USB has offered me this speed. when im transferring large playlists, to this USB it can handle hundreds of tracks at a time, and done in seconds! its a no brainer for me. up to this point used daily, no issues no fuss.

Big, heavy, expensive but fast.
Compared to most pen drives it is big, heavy and expensive, but it is fast. The read and write speeds are comparable with an internal SSD in an external USB enclosure. When thought of as an external hard disk, it is actually quite small and light. It does stick out a bit more than one would like from the computer when in use. It therefore benefits from the use of a short extension lead (not included) in case of accidental knocks.

Top notch
Incredible usb, doesn't get warm and read / write speeds are tops, really heavy and hard to lose

Raspberry Pi running off this USB for 12 months, no issues!
I've got my Pi booting from USB, it's been running off the Corsair 128 GB Voyager GTX for over a year now, with a ton of read and writes. It's fast, so far reliable, and the metal body is good for dissipating heat. A less capable USB would have failed long ago, or hampered performance, so I'm very happy with this one. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.
