Strong UV, faulty charger
The Built-in charger does not work. You need external charger to charge the battery. Prolonged use makes the top part warm. UV is strong and wide spread, no way to adjust the focus. There are areas to develop.

If you're wanting to go exploring with UV, this is the best torch you'll find for under $100
Comes with the batteries, a lot of people don't want to buy a light without them. This is an important factor when shopping to many. It has USB C charging, so if you live in today's society, you have probably 10-15 different spots to charge it. First off, the UV light is NOT BRIGHT. It's not meant to be. It does however show things you'd never expect to be there. I warn you, if you think your house is clean, this light is going to drive you insane, it shows everything. Built quality is on point. Very hefty feeling body, excellent button placement, charging is easy, and a decent lip over the lens. The ONLY thing I wish they'd have included was a good lens cover. UV is NOT good for eyes, so if you buy this get yourself some sort of cover. The batteries last a decent while, considering the wattage it's pushing. It has two modes which the high mode will change your perspective on clean. We've found some really cool stuff out in the woods at night with this light. I WILL get warm with extended use on high, it's pushing quite a bit of power. If you'd like to see the true measurements on it's abilities I suggest searching up one lumen on google and check out their insanely in depth review. Overall, this is a fantastic light for a decent price tag. If you're wanting to see how dirty things are or go out and explore and find some REALLY cool stuff at night, this is the best bang for buck out there. If you're debating on purchasing this one, I'd highly suggest just pulling the trigger. Alonefire really did a great job on this light.

Very effective UV light
First off….. do NOT get this if you’re OCD about being clean, or your spaces have to be clean. This up lamp shows things….. you may not want to see. Ancient stains show, dust is amazingly clearly seen, splashes of liquids you thought you scrubbed immaculately clean, this light will show. This UV light is filtered, which means it won’t seem bright until it hits a UV reactive object or substance. DO NOT look into the active emitters, you could cause eye damage, do not play with kitty with this light, do NOT EVER let your children touch this light. From what I see that this light emits is very high UVA energy. Now that all my warnings have been said. This is a pretty solidly built light. Tight and smooth threadings on the body pieces, comfortable to hold and very simple operation. One click from off is high power, one click while on goes into low power, another click turns it off. 4 quad element emitters shine through a filtered lens that allows it to emit just as near or on 365nm wavelength UV. Or in the UVA spectrum. This will not sanitize fully surfaces it shines on, and it’s not intended to do such a thing. However what it will do is illuminate yooperlite stone, white objects, and…….. it does very well, almost too well at showing pet urine stains, dust, and chemicals on surfaces that react to UV, I haven’t thank god had a scorpion near me to see how well they show up, and I don’t want to *shudder* but this would do the trick. The beam can get hot on the skin and the emitter head can get warm during high power operation. But that’s normal. Haven’t had it long enough to gauge charge levels, and how long it can run on a charge. For its price tho, it’s a very good unit. Too good in some cases. Simple, effective, easy to use. A excellent value in my opinion and time will tell on its durability and longevity which I hope is very long. I do wonder who makes the emitters tho.

Awesome light
Note this is a UV light and barely produces any visible light. But when pointed at anything which is UV reactive it causes them to grow brightly. The flashlight is made of heavy duty materials. The three 18650 batteries which came with the Alone Fire brand on them seem of good quality. Charging them takes a long time, but I prefer that to fast charging. The button is good quality and sensitivity and has functioned many times without failure. There is no 1/4 inch hole for attaching to a tripod. It has only 2 brightness levels and toggles from off to bright to low. Caution: Do not point directly into your eyes. It will physically hurt and may cause damage to the eyes. CAUTION: Do not use to check you wife's work after she cleans a room ;) It does provide a good method for checking you work when cleaning up pet "fluids" off of couches and carpets. Lint in general with show some reflected light, Carpets will also show reflections similar to lint but with several different colors. It was fun to take to my local Rock Shop and see which stones and crystals glowed. Works great to charge glow in the dark paint and tape, which glow very bright under the UV. When shined on your skin it will feel warm especially up close. It does penetrate the skin a bit and exposes bruises and makes scars much easier to see. Some bruises which are barely visible will be easily visible under this light. It does not shine very far but I think that is the nature of UV light. But up to 20 feet away only the brightest of UV reactive colors will be visible.

No instructions or documentation
I would have given 5 stars, but the light is outstanding and works great. But it came with no instructions, and there is no indication of which way the batteries go inside the flashlight. But I figured it out, and they all go one way. I'm on the positive towards the light. Also, they say that you can take the tail cap off. Well, when you take the tail cap off, there's the bottom part of the battery chamber you would have to completely dismantle the light get in, put your batteries in that way. So what I did was, I just unscrewed the head slid the batteries, and screwed the head back on, leave the tail cap permanent, but yeah, really, really bad.On instructions or any type of literature on the light.

It is really bright and has great battery life. Keep the lens safe from drops and scratches.
I have enjoyed using this a ton. It works well, it is bright, and the battery life is awesome. It is a bit heavy but that is the trade off for the battery longevity. I primarily use it for rockhounding but we also use it around our house for finding messes from our toddlers or animals. It is amazing for finding specific minerals or spots on carpet. 10x better than any other uv light I have tried. The one problem I have had with it was my own fault. I dropped it while hiking and cracked the uv pass through filter. It still works but there is sharp glass there now that is a bit irritating. I would recommend some kind of protective case as with the weight, it seems like this glass could be vulnerable to cracking. Otherwise 10/10 would recommend. Be warned, your house is likely a lot messier than you think it is, especially if you have kids... Great for helping with cleaning but definitely a bit overwhelming at first. Our house looked like a crime scene with boogers, yogurt, milk, and various other greasy messes littering our walls and cabinets... Seeing as pressure washing the interior walls was out of the question, a fresh coat of paint may be in order to start fresh haha.
