We used numerous of these male cat8 connectors. It was a little tricky with our cable that did not have the color stripe on each white wire, but we spent a little more time to check each connection. Overall, very good for the price.

Very good instructions, boot finished off their look very well. The cat 8 cable i got is much thinner though. These where a pain to use on the cable that would slip invetween the guides and miss the crimp failing to make a connection. I blame this on the cable being a probably fake cat 8 and needing cat 6 size connector. Don't have a full size cat 8 to test them with but they seem to be good.

physically didn't fit on my CAT8 cable - it seems like CAT8 cables have thicker wires (insulation) than what these plugs are built for

Several months ago, I rewired the house with CAT-7 wire and this made all the difference. Putting these ends on was easy and I haven't had any network problems.

These get the job done, but are not super easy to install nor provide any special features. They are at best average from a functional standpoint. Where the Excel is, they are relatively inexpensive.

When I bought a 500' wooden spool of outdoor rated, shielded cat 6A ethernet cable, I was sure I would only be able to terminate using keystones, surface mount boxes or field termination plugs. Never dreamed I could use any sort of pass-through connector, but these guys work without much issue and my Klein VDV226-110 crimper fits them. There are some minor issues specifically having to do with difficulty getting individual wires to pass thru easily which is why I assume the load bars are included (found they didn't seem to help me, but YMMV). Only other issue is lack of metal on the inside for contact with the ground wire necessitating use of the attached ground loop which I hate (but isn't specific to this brand). Neither issue is sever enough to warrant any subtraction of stars. Overall, these termination connectors are a good value, and I have purchased an additional 20 pak after using up the first very quickly.
