We used numerous of these male cat8 connectors. It was a little tricky with our cable that did not have the color stripe on each white wire, but we spent a little more time to check each connection. Overall, very good for the price.

When I bought a 500' wooden spool of outdoor rated, shielded cat 6A ethernet cable, I was sure I would only be able to terminate using keystones, surface mount boxes or field termination plugs. Never dreamed I could use any sort of pass-through connector, but these guys work without much issue and my Klein VDV226-110 crimper fits them. There are some minor issues specifically having to do with difficulty getting individual wires to pass thru easily which is why I assume the load bars are included (found they didn't seem to help me, but YMMV). Only other issue is lack of metal on the inside for contact with the ground wire necessitating use of the attached ground loop which I hate (but isn't specific to this brand). Neither issue is sever enough to warrant any subtraction of stars. Overall, these termination connectors are a good value, and I have purchased an additional 20 pak after using up the first very quickly.

I bought some non-modular cat-8 plugs and cut several connections off after they failed with my tester. These plugs saved my sanity. They're awesome. 👍 👌 Also, if you notice, there's a ground test in my video... don't cut all of the shield off... wrap it with your ground wire and secure it to the outside insulation with foil tape before you crimp. Cat-8 is fast, but you need that ground for noise isolation. Use a switch with good surge suppression to keep lightening out of your electronics. I hope it helps somebody! 💯

These connectors are supposed to be RJ45 connectors for Ethernet ports. They don't fit. I thought it be one or two that could be a manufacturing defect but all 5 I tested were too big. Very poor quality and not compatible with standard RJ45 ports. Impossible to install.

Very good instructions, boot finished off their look very well. The cat 8 cable i got is much thinner though. These where a pain to use on the cable that would slip invetween the guides and miss the crimp failing to make a connection. I blame this on the cable being a probably fake cat 8 and needing cat 6 size connector. Don't have a full size cat 8 to test them with but they seem to be good.

These get the job done, but are not super easy to install nor provide any special features. They are at best average from a functional standpoint. Where the Excel is, they are relatively inexpensive.

Un producto que cumple con lo esperado. Lo use para hacer un cable de 30 metros y con cable utp cat 8 reforzado y los conectores no tuvieron problema para perforar los alambres. Como extra compre la cripadora qué recomienda el mismo fabricante y no tuve ninguna complicación. Lo seguiré usando para más cables qué tengo que armar ya que estos conectores facilitan mucho el armado.

Niet te krimpen met een knipex tang dus onbruikbaar. Krimpt op de verkeerde plaats. Nog nooit voorgehad met andere dus… vuilbakvulling.

Ça a toujours été compliqué d'attacher des câbles sur un connecteur, ceci dit je ne vois pas pourquoi j'en tiendrai compte dans la note car ce n'est pas propre au produit. Le produit est qualitatif, ca marche bien, et le débit de la Cat8 passe. C'est bien!
