After having read and listened to Kapil for the past year I see many things differently than I did before. This book is a dialogue written in 18 chapters as the student becomes more aware of prescriptions, and it eventually reaches a point where it’s obvious to the student how following prescribed ways of doing things in non-mechanical pursuits really robs, or to use his words… “destroys” a humans life. When I first understood more deeply the truth Kapil spoke about how humans waste their entire lives distracted by method’s of how to get something rather than in being serious about just getting it’ (specifically from a discourse about tiger woods and how humans like to be entertained by prescriptions)… it was something intensely visceral. I haven’t wanted to let go of that feeling since and wake up everyday trying to eliminate everything that I can out the way and get the things I really want in life at this moment. And to speak about how this book made me feel…it was like that first visceral moment again, sitting on the floor first hearing that tiger woods discourse. There’s not much more for me to say from my experience. Thank you Kapil. I’ve changed very tangible elements of my life/experience in the past 6 months because of the truths you have written. I dropped the price on this easier than most other things I buy in my life…I think because I know whatever I get out of seeing this clearly will be WAY more than what I pay. This review is my way for paying for all the free content I’ve read of yours.

Filled with revelations and illumination. Short. Direct. Unapologetically to the point. I am speechless, and ready to seek more from Kapil Gupta.

This small book is so insanely great, it is one of the top 5 books I have read. Extremely convoluted, completely humbling & mind numbing book. If you want to lose sleep, read this. Beware - it's not for everyone!! @KapilGuptaMD is probably the best philosopher of our times!!!

I love this book because it takes one "theme" and hovers over it for the length of the entire book. In this way it's much more satisfying to me than the books that explain the whole "vision". Thank you.
