Hi, Is this the same as AHCC, Noxylane4, BRM4. I used MGN3 which was pulled then Noxylane4 but they raised the price. Thanks so much....Steve

Hello and Greetings from Daiwa Health Development! AHCC is different from PeakImmune4, BRM4 and Noxylane4. It is a blend of three mushrooms. The active ingredient in PeakImmune4, BRM4 and Noxylane4 is Rice Bran Arabinoylan Compound (RBAC). RBAC is derived from an extract from rice bran that is broken down into a smaller molecule in a fermentation process using a very small amount of an enzyme complex from Shitake mushroom. Although AHCC and PeakImmune4 work similarly on the immune system, primarily through white blood cells, PeakImmune4 has a much greater impact. The two key areas that PeakImmune4 has increases macrophage activity to a much greater extent and is effective at lower dosage levels than AHCC. Research studies show that AHCC does not have an effect in humans on NK cells (an important white blood cell) below 2g/day, while PeakImmune4 starts to increase NK cell activity at 500mg. This translates to a lower cost per daily dose for PeakImmune4. PeakImmune4 and BRM4 are the same, both are made by Daiwa Health Development. They are supported by dozens of research and case studies. While Noxylane4 does contain RBAC, it also contains another ingredient, Heated Algae Ingredient (HAI). It is not known if HAI compromises the efficacy of RBAC. All the research studies were done with only RBAC without HAI. Thanks for the great question!
