Wow! Wish I Had Tried This Cover Instead Of Using Leather Paint
I'm extremely pleased with UTICOR Taupe Extra Wide Reclining Sofa Covers. Reading the instructions is Key to getting as close to a custom fit as possible. These covers are very soft, stretchy, and easy to install. Once tied down, the sections stay in place not matter how much I move around on them. My sofa is in excellent condition, but is peeling after about 4 years of heavy use. After inspecting each piece, I put them into a Quick machine wash cycle. I then dried them on Med heat for about 15 minutes. I only used 2 out of the 7 plastic strap connectors because my sofa has a relatively low back [Only 39' from top of back to floor & width of 78']. The straps are not very long, but the fabric is extremely stretchy. Picture#1: The cover storage bag is really nice with a handle on top. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Picture #2: I extended the right side and installed 3 of the 6 total pieces. As you can see, the left side is peeling and the Leather Paint I had used didn't hold up long term. Picture #3: The "Pen Trick". A fellow reviewer suggested this tip & I really thank them for it. I used a click pen to feed the straps through to the back of the sofa. This made tying the straps down at the bottom of my sofa effortless. Picture #4: Everything is in place, and it truly makes my reclining sofa look brand new. I plan to purchase the Light Grey next. I wouldn't recommend these for pet owners. This cover is neither waterproof nor "claw proof". Other than that, it's perfect for giving new life to a well loved reclining sofa.

Hard to get on but looks great on a two cushion double recliner full length sofa
We have a light tan (almost cream) leather recliner sofa that is in excellent condition and we want to keep it looking good but we have two rambunctious dogs who run through mud and like to wrestle on it. We bought it for $70 in December 2023 - the only thing wrong with it is the color, just not practical for us or fitting for the room. We got a cover just like this for another sofa (non-reclining) and it was so easy to put on and we loved it so we figured we'd give this a try for the leather recliner sofa. It's a full length sofa (not a loveseat), about 85" so we ordered the 75-100". I didn't think to take photos until he was almost half way done but at least you can see the type of recliner sofa we have - it's two wide recliners with no center non-reclining section. This was obviously important when I was shopping and it took me a while to find someone who had a sofa like ours that this cover worked well for, so I wanted to be sure to mention that and include photos. The navy color is great and the fabric is so soft and stretchy. This was very hard to put on even though we ordered one that would supposedly fit a longer sofa, and this isn't an overly stuffed sofa. Now my husband didn't realize the back of the sofa was covered in a piece of leather that was just attached with Velcro so that might have sped things up for him (I knew and assumed he had noticed, my fault). He only needed me for about three minutes but he had to really pull and work to get these pieces on and as others have said - "I wonder how long the straps will last?" - they're pulled so tight. I think it took him half and hour, but he was complaining the entire time - was not fun all of the reaching and tugging. I wouldn't have been able to do it on my own - I can't reach as far as he can. It is a complicated thing to cover, so it's understandable that it might not be a breeze to put on, but now I'm thinking we'll never wash it because chances are it may shrink even with line drying and we might not be able to get it back on properly - or want to go through the hassle (I'll give him a while to recover and forget the annoyance before I try to wash it). So now we're covering this with sheets and only pull those off when we have company or change the sheets. We'll try washing it eventually, when it needs it. It could use better labeling but we got through that bit (which piece went where and which way) easily. This covered the back fully, no problem for us there. The one end, under the arm on the bottom always pulls up because that's the side the dogs jump onto from the door - they launch onto the sofa from the doorway 8 feet away so it tugs on the fabric. But so far, after two months, the rest is staying put and we use this very hard - always reclining when we're on it - and the dogs are always on it (two vizslas). The pockets they show in the photos are handy but I think they're mostly there to cover where you pull on the handle/leaver to recline - to cover excess soiling from touching that area often and to cover any holes that might appear where your tugging on the fabric repeatedly. There are no holes for handle access, they are covered by fabric. But as I said, the pocket fabric will cover any wear well if you reach into the pocket and then pull the handle. It looks nice because it's in pieces, not one big stretch to fit piece which is why we loved the one we got for our non-recliner sofa - it had covers for each cushion so it looks natural, not like a cover. Most people didn't know it was a cover on the non-recliner sofa. It may be easier to tell on the recliner sofa because of the foot rest area but not likely - and I like the sleeker look. Plus, you don't have to wash it all at once - just wash which ever piece/s needs washing. What I love is there are so many colors and they're affordable so you can change them for the holidays or by season - or just try out a new color for that room and see how it works before you commit to a new piece of furniture in that color. Or if you have a piece of furniture you love but it clashes with other stuff, you can cover it - or cover them. Or make two mismatched pieces match, etc. They're great. And they're making them better and better right now. This is a hard room to furnish with walls we won't ever paint (beautiful hardwood walnut custom paneling) indestructible terra cotta colored tiles, and a red/terra cotta brick fireplace so getting to see what colors work on furniture (other than orange or brown) in this room is nice and we can use that information for new furniture in the future. The recliner covers are more expensive but for our regular sofa I only paid twenty something, so we could change the color every couple of months for that price - especially since the brand new sofa was free. We only get cheap/free furniture due to the dogs for now. I hope that was helpful to someone.

Sofa Saved From Snack Attack Chaos
I don’t usually write reviews, but these were so good I had to break my silence. Our living room is on the second floor, so getting a new sofa would basically require a crane, a team of engineers, and probably a permit from the city. We actually love our sofas. They still work great. The problem is we also have two kids who treat them like a combination napkin, art project, and crime scene. Apparently, wiping hands after eating flaming Cheetos directly onto a beige couch is just part of their lifestyle. Add in fruit drinks and the color slowly transformed from classy beige to something that looks like it came straight out of a Duck Dynasty wardrobe. These covers fit perfectly and feel amazing, like your sofa just upgraded to luxury mode and is lounging around in silk underwear. Best of all, they made our couches look brand new without requiring heavy machinery or emotional damage. The only thing missing is waterproofing. If they had that, I would give them six stars and possibly name my next child after the company.

Does what it’s supposed to and looks good.
Looks good, stays in place, even when my dog tries to rip it down. Not easy to put on.

Best cover ever. So easy to put on
Best cover we’ve ever found for covering the couch. This hides the cords so my cats don’t chew them. They come with these neat little things that hold the elastic ends so the cover doesn’t slide out. They’re called hook connectors. I couldn’t find a cushion cover that was exact to my couch but this worked perfectly!!! I’m so happy. Our couch looks brand new. We love the deep rich blue color however if they’d make it with a deep rich purple color that would be amazing!!!!!!! It was so easy to put on and it came with super intelligent instructions that were easy to use. The only reason I looked at them was I didn’t know what the hook connectors were for.
