Just returned from our annual Michigan camping trip in multiple locations. It rained and stormed with wind gusts 30 mph at times during our trip. We are experienced campers and always put a tarp up above out tent, no rainfly unless it reaches the ground on all sides will be able to handle sustained rain or windy storms with some wet spots. We have used Coleman, Ozark trail tents before, this one was a little more lightweight than the other two but very well made. We only had a tiny quarter sized puddle in one corner after 16 hrs of rain in the side the tarp didn’t fully cover. The windows are completely waterproof as is the door.It should be noted that waterproof level is greatly impacted by whether this tent is on a level surface so no wrinkles in the floor or walls.It is very simple to set up, best with two people, took us 25 min the first time, 15 the second. It is 4 poles going in sleeves and one for the roof over the porch. It folds easily back into the ample tote bag it comes with. The tote bag is sturdy and the tent ends up much more compact than even my last 5 person tent.The rainfly is adequate, it makes the tent have lots circulation on those hot and sticky nights. There is no way 8 people could comfortably fit, I would say more like 4 adults and maybe 2 kids with all of your gear. If you only have sleeping things in the tent then maybe 8. We had a queen sized cot, two camping chairs, two tote bags of clothes, and four rubbermaid containers with plenty of floor space. There are several loops to hang lanterns from. Only two small wall pockets, which is the only thing i would change.I would buy this tent again. I chose the light blue and it really stood out where we were camping. I encourage anyone camping for the first time to look up how to tarp to make any tent waterproof!

We are in love with this tent. Purchased to use as a temporary structure to use our projector when our granddaughters come during weekends. It has held up to everything mother nature has thrown at it. Rain, wind, hail, it is still standing.This tent is large enough for a base camp. It has plenty of sleeping room and is perfect for glamping as well. Was not difficult to assemble but will require more than one person, if possible. Well worth our investment.It has 2 side mesh pockets inside the tent to store your cellphone, sunglasses or other small items if you need to while keeping all organized and within reach.All materials are of excellent quality, poles, stakes, the liner for the tent, the zippers open and closed very smoothly, excellent all the way, great quality and value.We put a standalone air conditioner inside, and it works perfect! Great design, great material, great product! Highly recommend!

This tent is huge and is an amazing summer tent but not a good winter tent. It is not waterproof. We got stuck in a rain storm and it was leaking from the sides and top even with the rain fly. If you use a tarp above it'll help. Love the color of the brown tent. Easy to set up. Would repurchase.

We had a 10x14' straight wall tent that was quite old and we needed a new 10 person tent. We had ordered a different tent but it never came. Our camping trip was quickly approaching so I found this one that arrived just 2 days after ordering! It was easy to set-up. I did a quick trial run in my front yard before going to the mountains. All of the poles and everything were included! The poles fit very snug, but made me nervous they might break when setting it up, but it was fine. I think that's why it's more windproof than our last one. The tent is huge, way bigger than our last. The walls are mostly straight, so it's not much different, just bigger. It took me an a few kids no more than 15 minutes to set it up from start to finish with the rainfly and all. I didn't need to look at the diagram much either. The poles are different colors so you put it in the right spot. We love it and it was very waterproof. It rained everyday in the mountains and we didn't have any leaks or anything. Highly recommend!

After hours of searching and reading reviews we decided to purchase this for our family of 6( 3 kids,1 dog, mommy and daddy).Spacious, we fit 2 air beds, a play pen, dog crate and luggage.Great quality, lots of windows for ventilation.

It’s a nice and roomy tent. It fits two queen air mattress’s with about 2.5 ft between the mattresses and 3ftX12(ish)ft at the base of the beds. Simple to put up. Only thing I don’t like is the design of the zipper. It makes the zipper catch almost every time.
