Purchased these stair treads, after reading the reviews, and honestly, they did not disappoint. I have 2 small dogs, who need a little traction going up, and down the stairs. The few treads that I have tried, only had a non slip backing, and would slide off the stairs. These treads have a peel and stick backing, but it's not a very sticky adhesive, so it doesn't ruin your wood stairs, but stays in place. Easy to install. I recommend thoroughly cleaning the stairs, peel the film backing, and put them in place. Took all of 10 minutes to do, and the treads haven't budged!! Easy to vacuum too!! The pile is like carpeting, so it feels nice on the feet. I highly recommend. So much so, that I purchased another set of treads 😉

Very easy to install - excellent quality, nice and soft underfoot with no slippage - bought more for another stairway because these are so nice. They do come folded in the shipping box so I took them out and let them relax for a few days before trying to put them in place. I had no problems at all. LOVE THESE!

Would not recommend this product 1) they come rolled up so you have to flatten them with a board and weighted item for a few days 2) the adhesive is very low grade additional adhesive is required and that is after recommendations were followed.

Despite a non-stick bottom, these stair carpets stay in place very well, and my dog now has a much easier time going up and down stairs. They're pretty soft, and have a decent weight to them, which is the main reason they don't slide around easily. Overall a decent solution to your stairs!Not sure why but Amazon Vine didn't ship the right color, perhaps it auto defaulted, and when I returned for a replacement they sent the same color again. That's an Amazon issue though, not the seller.

I got a four-pack, but only needed two for a two-step entryway staircase. Now, I have a couple of spares to use when I need to replace the first two.First, the reason for four stars. The stair treads come doubled-up in a small cardboard carton. As such, there is a hump in the center of the tread where it was folded. The instructions tell you to place 150 pounds on the center of the tread to flatten out the hump. Who has 150 pounds of anything available to flatten out the treads? I used kettlebells (see photo), and it worked fine. The instructions say you can also bend the treads in the opposite direction to remove the curl. This didn't work. Here's a suggestion for the vendor...Put 30 inch stair treads in a 30 inch box, and they will be ready to install upon arrival!The stair treads are very nice. The color (in my case, dark beige) is excellent, and matches my decor perfectly. The pile is a medium height. It doesn't look cheap like the low height piles, and it isn't too plush to put on stairs like the higher height piles. In addition to a great carpet look, the stair treads are hemmed all around. Besides looking good, the hemming should make the high wear areas of the edges much more durable.The stair treads adhere well to the stairs. The instructions say that the treads are machine washable. I am a little skeptical that the adhesive qualities will remain with repeated washings, but time will tell.These are really nice stair treads, and I recommend them.
