This pillow is firm but not overly firm, perfect for when you are sitting down in a really stiff chair for a long time (like a dinner table chair) or a overly warm office chair. The cooling pad on it helps a lot and makes sitting down for long times far more bearable than without it. Just be aware, the pillow itself is somewhat small, it does include straps to secure it to the chair but it also helps to make sure it stays centered on the chair.

Much better than my last lumbar back pillow. I have sciatica and I am an Uber driver. It's difficult to get fully comfortable. But this brings me as close as possible, in conjunction with my butt pillow.
