I purchased this one over others for 2 reasons. Flag design is subtle but very nice; this is made of aluminum instead of plastic. This product fixes the common issue of the broken visor connector on the Jeep Wrangler JL. Installation is simple, but it does help to have a helper to hold the visor in place while removing the old screws and installing the plate and new screws. Just remove the existing screws, holding the visor in place and put the plate directly over the existing plastic plate. Since there is a small lip around the visor mount pole, this plate holds it up into the space. Use the included, longer screws, which are needed due to depth of the plate. 10 minute installation. Works great.

Very easy to install, fixed the issue I was having with my visor not staying up. Looks cool all at the same time! Best bang for your buck. I love it!

If you own a jeep you know this is a constant issue, I have had to take my Jeeps (gladiator & wrangler) into the dealership at the least 3 times because the broken visor issue is technically covered by the manufacturer warranty. But it’s the biggest inconvenience because I’m usually without my vehicle for a few days while they fix it and they never give me a loaner or rental. It’s a pain to say the least. This product is AMAZING!!! No more trips to the dealership for me!!! At least not for the visor. This product is metal so it’s really durable! It looks great in my gladiator. It’s super easy to install, just 2 little screws. And don’t get me started on the price… so affordable! And when my wrangler’s visor breaks again I will definitely be buying this visor repair kit instead of taking it to the dealership. Super happy with this product!

When I first bought my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the visors were already messed up. I was told that it would cost about $300 each to get fixed and warranty would not cover. They gave me a discount on the Jeep purchase. I came across this fix by accident on a YouTube video and it’s exactly what I needed. I feel like going back to the dealership and show them how quick, easy and cheap. It was to fix.

This is a brilliant solution to a crap design by Jeep. The aluminum is nicely crafted as is the black finish, but the silver overlay leaves a lot to be desired with one set having a wildly uneven and crooked spacing between the stripes and the replacement set being more subtle, so acceptable to just get my repair done but not ideal. I also hate buying anything that displays an American flag that is made in China and not in love with their brand being right on the face of them, but these are a much sharper and more intentional appearance than alternatives that look like afterthought DIY solutions. The "driver side" and "passenger side" are mislabeled on my instructions but it was a quick discovery and thankfully installation is simple. Shame on Jeep for not recalling and replacing these horribly designed, dangerous visors - mine often liked to drop down and block 50% of my view while driving and shame on the dealership for saying it isn't covered under my warranty because it takes significant abnormal force to break them, essentially telling me it was my careless or malicious reefing on them that caused the damage. This is a much better solution than spending $200+ each to replace OEM visors just to have it happen again. My passenger visor has literally NEVER been used except to tip it enough to use the latch for the soft top and I found it was broken as well when I installed these plates.

My wife loves them on her 2018 Jeep Moab. It was cheaper to purchase these, than to spend all the time and money on the plastic dealer replacement hangers. Wish I would have known about the visor hangers before they broke and installed these over them first. Truly beautiful
