It is likely the fiber and the sugar is rounded up - it may be 4.5g fiber rounded up to 5g, and 1.5g of sugar rounded up to 2g. Thus, 4.5g fiber + 1.5g sugar = 6total carbs. They're rounded up because not every single sauce is going to be the exact same size or the exact same ingredients, so they're rounded up to reflect that margin of error. For example, if you ever baked chocolate chip cookies, you'll notice that not all cookies will be the same. Some might have more chocolate chips, some might be smaller/bigger than others, or some may taste sweeter than others. It is impossible to make every single cookie the same. The nutritional information in the U.S. is heavily regulated, and it is something companies can get sue over. There is a lot of pressure to describe the nutritional label accurately as possible. Very versatile for many cuisines.

OMG! I'm in love with this condiment. Best used in stir fry, can use with vegetables, tofu, shrimp, meats. A TBS goes a long way but sometimes you want more. Very versatile and stores in frig well.

Flavorful & hearty

It’s the best. Forget all the others. Most are in Canola oil & that stuff in not even food. Lao is more substantial & hearty. IMHO, it’s the best brand offering this style of condiment. I eat it on tinned fish, salads, chips…..It’s the best. More flavorful than the rest.
