Exact replacement, works great so far
I have an old Firestick that still works fine for what I do, but the remote started freezing, sometimes after a minute, other times after an hour or even a day. To get it un-froxzenm i would have to take the battery out (removing just one worked), then put it back in, and the remote would work again, sometimes for a minute, but at lease I could use it! I tried a complete reset of the remote, but again it worked for an short time then was back to the same freeze-up behavior. The new one was very inexpensive, and seems to be an exact replacement. Amazon knows what firestick I have, and on the page with the new remote, there was a little message that confirmed that I was looking at the right replacement. The pairing went fine, and it didn't take any other button pushing (in my case) for the new remote to control the TV and the soundbar. If there are any problems, I'll update this review but if a few weeks pass and you don't see any complaints, it means the remote is working well.

Great Remote & Amazon to the Rescue!!
Our remote died and the boyfriend was in a complete state of panic lol. Amazon to the rescue!! The remote was ordered late in the day and received early the next morning! This remote is durable and of great quality, especially for the low price! Batteries get a workout from my boyfriend and they last a long time in this remote! While the boyfriend was at work, I set up the remote for him in two minutes flat! It was super easy to connect following the instructions and all was right with my boyfriend’s world again!! He couldn’t wait to get home from work to start wearing the new remote out haha!! I highly recommend this remote!!

Great replacement remote
Great replacement remote. We go through them because they get lost around our house. This won't be the last one we order I am sure. Price is great and shipping is super quick

Did not work with 2nd generation firestick
Would not work with the 2nd generation fire stick after a couple uses. It paired and worked initially and then quit and it would not repair/reprogram.
