5/8" x 100 ft Heavy Duty Retractable Hose Reel Black

Was so happy with the quality and functionality of this product- that this “always looking for a cheap bargain person” bought another one for opposite side of house!! Shocked I would pay this $ twice- but so worth it! Watched YouTube videos and this product performs like they said! The swivel part is awesome so that it doesn’t get “hung up”, loved the smoothness of retraction and how it feeds itself evenly so you don’t have to keep pulling it to “try again”. We got 100’+ hose length and I am so glad- was worried that it would be more challenging to pull and retract- but it’s easy. Wanted to get something to help as we age and the material seems quality and like it will take us into the next 20 years. The “eyelashes” help with some debris prevention from getting pulled into box- but won’t clean a muddy hose if you get what I mean. And the best part was that it could fit on a 4 x 4 post. We didn’t have to make anything bigger to accommodate.one was installed directly on the house. We got a color that would blend in with the house. And I am glad so it is not an ice order, because it is big! Big and mighty!

So far I love this retractable hose reel. I dug the hole on Friday and installed the post on Saturday morning. The reel arrive Sunday and I had it installed a few hours later. I needed to added a leader hose and a quick release fitting because I need to move over the path between the water source and the hose reel. I added a hook in the back to hold the leader hose. It was easy to install. I installed a 4"x6" post because I was led to believe that the installation bracket would not install on a 4"x4" post (which is actually 3.5" x 3.5"). I placed the bracket onto the 4" side and the bracket CAN be installed there. The bracket and the post are the same width and the hole placement will secure the bracket to a 4" post. I found the instructions odd. It has note to install the bracket HORIZONTALLY but they mean VERTICALLY. The hose reel pulls out and retracts well. The sprayer offers a lot of good spray patterns. The only odd thing from what I'm used to is that the Off position is with the thumb switch full up; down is the ON position. I chose black as it fit my backyard better than would white. It also comes with a cover The handle will help when I move it to the garage when the weather turns cold. It also comes with a cover which I'm not sure I'll use, but it's a nice touch. I'm happy with this Hozereel 5/8" x 100 ft product.

Best hose ever! This was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! We mounted it on a 4x4, 8’ wooden post and added a paint hook and hanging plant because hose is in front of our garage. It works so well. I’m older with shoulder problems so the ease of pulling the hose out along with the swivel action of the holder has been great! I used to dread watering my flowers or really anything that involved dragging the hose out but now it’s not such a chore. And you just pop it off the mounting hook to take in for winter! Highly recommend!!!

Despite that minor quirk, it remains a highly practical and well-constructed tool that makes outdoor maintenance noticeably easier and more organized.

Got tired of rolling up my hoses. These were very easy to mount and easy to use. The hose length is perfect for our yard. The build quality looks great and should last a long time.

Purchased for a family member that already had one and loved it! Self winding feature works great. Hozereel makes it much easier to manage a long hose for watering plants, washing a car, etc.

Feels like a very solid product. It does get heavy when filled with water so I mounted it to a 4x4 wood post instead of attaching to the wall. I probably did not need 100ft so probably should have gone shorter which would also have reduced the weight. But it works fine and so far would recommend it.

Purchased two for front and back yard Back yard one would not retract right out of the box and i have reached out to customer service. UPDATE: 6/8/2026 I gave it a year and this thing is still a piece of garbage. Both nozzles started catastrophically leaking from different locations after less than 10 uses. The one i purchased for my backyard still does not retract all the way. It retracts less than it did last year. Don't buy this crap. Its gonna fail on you in about 1 year of use. Unless you like spending $160/year on garden hoses Update 6/23/26 I reached out again and got a replacement for the defective one. The delivery was fast and the rep, Joy was kind and helpful. I changed my rating from a 1 to a 3 star. I would still not purchase this brand again.

Packaging is fine but the product leaks am have a tough time returning it
