Acrifix 192 sticker Plexiglas® acrylic glass 100g 1R0192 item no.: acrifix product and coverage 1 - components orthodontics curing glue needed. Clear, slightly violet, viscous solution of an acrylic resin in methyl methacrylate, which polymerizes under the influence of light. Area of application preferably for clear seam and area bonding of colourless acrylic glass, i.e. Plexiglas® GS, Plexiglas® XT and parts made from Plexiglas® moulding compound, but also from other colourless plastics such as CAB, PC and PS. Storage, transport, keep container tightly closed, store in a cool and well-protected place. UN 1133 processing instructions, preparation of the parts to be bonded. The surface to be bonded must be degreased with Acrifix® TC 0030, isopropyl alcohol or petroleum ether. All parts that contain stress must be tempered before sticking to avoid stress cracking. The annealing conditions depend on the type of material, the degree of deformation and the thickness of the parts to be joined. Usually, we add parts made of extruded and opalescent acrylic glass always be tempered. As a reference for 2 to 4 hours of tempering in air circulation heat cabinet at 70 to 80°C - for use on all types of hobs, comes complete with in-line high-definition cast acrylic glass - which is very convenient. Due to the bonding, the parts to be joined are fixed in the desired position (avoid shading), the adhesive seam is sealed with suitable adhesive tapes and any surrounding surfaces may be protected (see illustrations). ACRIFIX® 1R 0192 is introduced into the glue seam directly from the tube, a glue dispenser or a syringe without bubbles. Then the bond is exposed with a suitable light source until it hardens (see under hardening). In this case, "normal" fluorescent lamps of the light type 840 are to be preferred, as these cause an optimal curing of Acrifix® 1R 0192 and do not require any special occupational safety measures against UV radiation.

Outstanding glue, but instructions missing
This glue is excellent, easy to apply and gives a very strong bond.It would have been helpful if some brief instructions on how to use it had been included (e.g. how to prepare surfaces, how to hold items together during bonding and how long before the item can be used again).
