5-Stars. The product works amazing and is superior at getting the job done. I will use this as my go to, and highly recommend it. This item is a great value that’s hard to beat. Today's purchase is kind of a big one, it's the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier. This item was purchased new, and the color we chose was charcoal because it matches our downstairs aesthetic. We started looking into to units like this because our house seems to have poor circulation, despite no issues with heating and cooling. The air seems to stagnate and odors begin to build up. Running the fan and opening windows did little, even as a temporary solution. The Shark Air Purifier was exactly what we were looking for. It's powerful enough to run one unit for the entire downstairs. Since we started using the air purifier, the air feels much less thick and stale than compared to before by far. The unit even includes an air freshener that's built in to stimulate those olfactory senses. The unit is small enough to fit in the corner of the room without being an eye sore. Most of the time the unit is pretty quiet, but when it revs up a little you do notice it, but it's not enough to be distracting or interrupt television. The unit it is super easy to use, with several adjustable settings and an auto function as well. I currently have it set to auto and it's doing it's thing. I am very surprised and extremely pleased that we have had the positive experience that we were hoping for. Better air quality is always a good thing, especially when you have allergies like me and my wife, so hopefully we can see a reduction in symptoms there as well. Yes the unit overall is kind of a big purchase, but with the results that you get from it, it seems totally worth it to me. I would highly recommend giving this a try if you are trying to reduce allergens or odors that seem to linger around the house, it totally works.

I run this in an older house that always had that damp, musty mold smell, and this thing made a real difference within the first day or two. The air feels cleaner and the stale odor is mostly gone the odor-neutralizer and HEPA-exceeding filter clearly pull mold spores, dust, and that "old house" smell out of the air. It handles a large room easily and runs quietly enough to leave on all day. The best part long-term is the NeverChange filter up to 5 years, so I'm not buying replacement filters every few months like with other purifiers. That alone makes it worth the price. One honest note: a purifier cleans the air, it doesn't fix the source. It knocked down the smell and airborne spores dramatically, but if you have active mold, still track down the moisture/leak causing it — this is the perfect companion to that, not a substitute for it. Bottom line: if an old house feels stuffy or smells musty, this clears it up fast and saves you money on filters. Highly recommend.

This is definitely worth the money! I bought it to help keep the allergens out of the air for my preemie baby when we brought her home! It works amazingly and tells you how clean your area is and it also has an odor neutralizer that you can replace to keep the air fresh! It’s super quiet and has helped keep my allergies at a minimum! Super great product!

Bought to help with my allergies but also to help control smoke, odors in a tightly built new home with a cheap built in hood exhaust fan. Have not used the air scent infuser. House frequently at no need to filter according to purifier's read out (surprised at that-but just knowing that is good). I guess the air is filtered well by air filter in furnace/air conditioner (I do use hi grade filter) and the tight new home construction helps as well. If open windows or doors more then it will kick more often. Does work hard when cooking for awhile and air improves over time. Subjectively my allergies, sinuses do seem to have less trouble but hard to assess that but usually I get a sinus infections 1-2x year this time none but I have been aggressive with early Netti Pot intervention as well so....? Hey surely the purifier is helping some too? Or at least the tightly built home and high end air filter? So to me this purifier is just another tool in my sinus allergy battle BUT the purifier does help with odors, smoke for sure from cooking. I do move it to different rooms at times too but mainly in my open kitchen/living room area. I do not have a pet (allergies to animal fur) so do not know how it works with that but I believe a different model suggested for that purpose but I forget.

HP152 - After 3 months of use, I regret my choice of this unit. My main purpose was to reduce dust levels in our bedroom, approx. 20'x13' or 260 sf. This unit is well oversized per the manufacturer's specs. Pros: It is fairly quiet. Lower speeds very quiet but gets noisy on higher speeds. Easy to read display and to use the various options. Kicks into high speed when using my hair blow dryer, hair spray, or perfume spray from a distance of approx. 20' away. Aesthetically nice looking unit. Easy to access filter and pre-filter screens. Cons: Does not pick up dust well at all. If it were left on high speed, it probably would do better with dust but also use the filter much faster and much noisier. Too noisy to sleep with at high speed. Automatic does nothing for dust but collects it on top of the unit. Even larger specks of dus,t easily seen on furniture, don't seem to kick the speed up at all. If left on automatic the fan stays off when not detecting anything which is how the filter may last up to 5 yrs. I was told this when I called Shark Support about it not detecting dust, who seemed to be reading from something. If the fan is not continually working then it would be ineffective on dust. I've only vacuumed the side filter screens once during the past 3 months. They have hardly collected anything; only a very small amount at the bottom. I don't understand how the unit readily detects hair spray, blow dryer, etc. from a distance but not dust which seems to be a larger particulate size. I leave the unit on 2 or 3 during the day and turn it down at night. Not ideal. I think it's best for odors or things with a very small particulate size vs larger size like dust. Unfortunately, does not work well for my intended purpose. Edit: Have decided to return larger HP301 unit since it doesn't work well for my intended purpose. Keeping smaller HP152 since return window closed.

I read other people's reviews saying it doesn't remove dust and stays stuck on Econ mode. I thought this at first too, but found that it absolutely does remove dust. The thing is, it has to be actively floating in the air, not settled on your furniture or rugs. I bought this last week because we have a lot of house dust and allergies. I plugged it in and it registered at 100% clean. Cooked bacon for dinner and immediately the sensor picked it up and it went to red. Eventually it went back to yellow and back to blue. It was on 100% for a few days and I was convinced it wasn't working so I manually increased the airflow for a while, then set it back to auto. We have been having some work done on the outside of the house and I noticed when I came home from work the light was still blue but it was registering at 89 or 90 percent. Yesterday I was actually home when the work was being done and the fumes and dust were really bad and getting into the house. The sensor immediately picked it up and registered at 65% and red. I checked the PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10 sensors and they were all super high. The fan ran on high all day, Eventually going to yellow and finally blue and 100% by evening. So glad I got this and looking forward to my allergies getting better!

This air purifier has been perfect for our open living, dining, and kitchen area. I originally bought it for our kitchen renovation to help with all the dust in the air, and it gave me so much peace of mind. It also turned out to be a lifesaver during the recent wildfires. The smoke and smog were terrible, and every time we opened the door, it seemed like more would drift inside. I loved being able to watch the air quality numbers change on the display as the purifier detected the smoke and automatically adjusted to clean the air. The Auto Mode is one of my favorite features because it only works as hard as it needs to instead of running on high all day when no one is home. We chose the black color, and it looks great with our decor, but I'll probably buy the white one for our bedroom. Another huge bonus is that I don't have to constantly replace the filter like I do with my other air purifiers. Overall, this has exceeded my expectations. I'd absolutely buy it again—in fact, I probably will. 10/10!
