Worked ok. It got me in the ball park for initial setup but not very accurate as other reviewers have said. The laser point is an oval and not a dot so it was not great for an accurate site in. I would not buy this again.

I recently purchased the MidTen Bore Sighting Laser for my rifle, and I’m thoroughly impressed with how easy it was to use. The laser comes with clear instructions, and within minutes, I was able to set up my scope using space in my attic without needing to head to the range. I have a 20 MOA rail, and it was quite important to at least get some zeroing done at home to avoid ammo wastage.The laser itself is bright and visible, which helps when aligning the sights. It's especially useful for zeroing in on long-range targets before going out for a full session. The batteries that come with the unit last a decent amount of time and are easy to replace.One of the things I like most is how portable it is—it's small and lightweight, so I can easily carry it in my gear bag. The price is great for the quality and accuracy you get with this bore sighter. It definitely saved me time and ammo by helping me get my rifle dialed in much quicker. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to save time and avoid wasted rounds at the range!

Here's how I check the bore sighter and make the correct point of impact (POI) adjustment:Mount the firearm somewhere it will not move (I use a bench vise). Then, I put index marks (using a marker) around the edges of the boresighter, load it up in particular orientation (use the index marks as reference), and draw a dot on the wall illuminated by the laser (I'm using my garage wall). Then I repeat the process while rotating the boresighter slightly each time. If the boresighter is not perfect, you will have drawn a dotted circle on the wall. Pick the center point of that circle and adjust your red dot to aim there. You can do this as few times as 2x (180 degree rotation of the boresighter) to get close enough, in which case you'd have a straight line that you can bisect to find your desired POI.If you are sure that the boresight is accurately calibrated, you don't need to do this. Simply drop into the chamber and line up your red dot.

Works good sometimes. Other times it’s off… I guess it’s good for general use but I’ve found that none of the items related to sighting in that are no name brand work correctly as you get what you pay for.
