The 8 yo loved this gift so he can play outside later as the days become shorter. I really liked the lighting to put around the hoop. I did caution him (and parents) that he was still not to go outside in the dark to play with this unless his parent were with him.

This is the coolest basketball to play with during summer months at night. My grandson can get out in the driveway with his dad and they have so much fun. It's a real basketball I really lights up we've had no problem with it

This worked surprisingly well. Set up was not difficult and it allows for fun play in the dim to dark night. Only issue is the zip ties that hold the lights to the rim will break and you have to continually replace them but that isn't difficult if your goal lowers.

Everything in this package deal works great! 10 year old great grandson is really excited about the brightness of the basketball and the way the hoop lights work. Would buy again!

Worked very well…kept the kids outside playing into the night

Basketball does have a dead spot, but we don’t play competitively like that. We bought it for the glow and it’s really fun that way. Our half of our string of lights went out before a month of ownership, but I contacted customer support and they replaced the item promptly. Very happy with the communication. We get to shoot hoops at night after the desert sun sets. So much fun!
