Installation was pretty easy even for someone like me. It does exactly what I wanted - the door is always locked and always needs a key to open from the outside. It seems sturdy enough.

This door knob is very solid. I needed to replace the previous door knob because it broke after so much harsh use. This knob was easy to install and feels so much more stronger.

These Master Lock Storeoom locks are definitely sweet units. Works for right and left hand swings (follow instructions), heavy duty, has Schlage cilinders, and are heavy duty sturdy! Love the ones I purchased!

I’m sure it’s a fine master lock product. But there’s door knob came in with a previously opened box with missing hardware. It’s being returned.

Perfect for an exterior gated entry. Lock seems well built. Wish it came with two different sized latch buttons, only comes with one length so I needed to run to my locksmith. As the metal security door was depth set for other than Schlage. EZ fix though. But often these type of locks are either adjustable or two pieces. Still good quick shipper in tight wrapped box. First order came open which I believe was the delivery company issue. Vendor replaced so fast!!

Bought four of these. One came apart after a few months' use, and we had to buy a new one.

Item itself looks to be of good quality and function. The difficulty is Amazon warehouse. No keys were in the package, rendering the lock worthless. More of a caution when purchasing returned items from Amazon, great savings, but of late a real roll of the dice. I'm assuming most of the returns of this item is because of the 2-3/4 backset, not unusual for exterior doors but interior doors are mostly 2-3/8. Best to double check your backset before ordering.

Just what I needed for the back basement door. If you close a door in a rush and forget to lock it, you could invite trouble in. Not with this, one the door is closed, it is locked. It is a security know, so it is a little tricky to put on. I admkt, I refered to the instructions. It works well, and was a clean fit. I will be buying a few more as these are a good value, especially if you are a person who forgets to lock the door often.

I would recommend this lock, works great.

Has the extra pin for security making it extra hard to pick and has the bump protection, though of course it's not 100% secure - nothing is. We wanted it for a closet containing some valuable stuff and it does the trick.

Would have preferred a 5 pin, but thankfully this can be rekeyed for 5pin, so all my original master keys work
