Decent headlight for the money
Picked this up as an option for my 2021 Yamaha XSR700. I already have a JW Speaker headlight on the bike, so this light is intended to be a "backup" should anything happen to that headlight. I tested the light hooked up to a 12V DC transformer. The light cast via the low beam is a relatively focused horizontal line with a dimmer semicircle beneath, whereas the high beam adds a bright rectangle in the middle of the horizontal beam. The low beam is a bit too focused for my liking, I wish it cast a bit more light for the bottom semicircle. The halo ring looks good, although it's worth noting it uses SMD LEDs under an opaque ring rather than COB LEDs. At a distance, this is mostly imperceptible, but up close you can see the LED "points" under the ring. The amber option for the halo is a nice option, although you'll need to wire it in to your indicators with some diodes to ensure it illuminates along with your L and R indicator, but doesn't cause both indicators to flash.Worth noting if you want to run just the halo light with the headlight off, you may need to modify your stock wiring.Overall I'd say the quality matches the price - relatively inexpensive for relatively mediocre quality.

LED Bright
I love this headlight for my GY6 scooter.. very bright night or day so cars see me and not to pull out on me all the time

It's okay
I've only had it for about a month and the little lenses on the inside are popping out and going into the housing. Idk how this is happening. First it was one and I noticed the second a few days ago so felt inclined to leave a review. It is bright, however it's not angled at the road so I still can't see anything at night and am likely blinding everyone

Did not fit my Yamaha....
Not only did it not fit my Yamaha VMaxx 1200 it also arrived without an instruction manual and parts required to install (such as screw/bolts/nuts). I wasted all this time removing the headlight case only to find there is absolutely zero match. Now I have to put the old headlight back together. A real nightmare. Specifying which motorcycle models are a direct match would be very helpful for the buyer not to waste time and money on something like this. Now I have to return this item and wait for 30 days to receive my refund and only then I will be able to buy a different one (yeah... I am not rich). Highly disappointed.

Good for city. I would say bad for country.
First off, I do a lot of back roads and country riding which are not lit up so this kind of thing matters more to me. If you are in the city or strictly roads lit up with street lights, this is a light that will more than work fine and will give you a better looking bike without a doubt.I have a Yamaha Stryker with a 5.75" headlight. I figured this should fit but turns out I need an adapter that is quite pricey if I want it to function the best. There are $20 ones but those will leave gaps in the housing too big and also they don't look secure enough so one bump in the road and I would likely have to readjust the light angle. That is not why I give this a lower rating. I should have looked into that before getting this so that was my fault.I still plugged it into my bike and judged the best I could off the wall 6' away.Low Beam:My stock housing with the Halogen created a decent spread with a thick line probably 1.5' thick before it got dim like a gradient. This LED bulb created a sharp skinny line I want to say around 10in thick.. just means less visibility but what is visible will slightly bleach out the darkness around it since the line is so sharp. My stock housing with an LED bulb in it worked the best surprisingly. I had very similar spread to the halogen but significantly brighter. and the line was not sharp which gave it a gradient making it easier on the eyes to see more of the dark parts of the road.High beam:My stock housing with Halogen, the light would only light up the sides but nothing in the center.. worst high beam I have ever seen. This LED bulb would keep the same 10in thick line but added a perfect square in the middle of the line that was probably 1' on each side. I am sure this high beam would be nice when used on the road, but it is very boxy which you will likely see while riding. The sharp lines is one thing that annoyed me on my other bike. The bulb itself feels sturdy and did not leave me questioning the quality at all. I wish I could have actually put it in my bike and done a better review on the street but I had no way of actually strapping it in.I am not a fan of sharp lines with headlights, I have that problem on my other bike (KTM 690 enduro R) and it really limits what I can see. I find myself staring at the white box on the ground because it is the only thing I can see which is not safe. LED just has that way about it, makes the darkness even darker when lines are sharp.
