Incomplete and with a very cheese cover.

complete unabridged from the famous literal translation 0f Richard F Burton, copyright 1932. YUCK!
Have a 'selection' arranged by Bennett A Cerf. Expected tales as being told by Shahrazad trying to save her life. What i got was a book of dry hard to follow stories m surprised held her captor's interest an hour much less 1001 nights! Ignore PC issues. That's the way they lived until they fought for themselves, someone else took over or others fought for them. They wrote what they knew. EVERY race, color and creed had and still have 'bad apples,' EVERY 1 of them have abused and taken advantage of ANOTHER race, color and creed for millennia since Adam and Eve! The proof is in the Bible and every other religious work reported revered by the race, color or creed thank those who helped them by victimizing their helpers including innocent, defenseless elderly & children, disabled yet today for revenge. Todays' victims of all race colors and creeds have worked millennia continuing today including fought, died and lost everything they had in wars to defend and free all races colors and creeds are now abused by those they helped for their sacrifice without hope receiving help. Reading history does not show support for injustice but makes us aware of what did and can happen if we don't pay attention. Making things reported PC can perpetuate evil. The behavior described was how it was. History is what we are SUPPOSED to study to prevent it being repeated. Not perpetuate the hate.

Bit of a hard read due to age of stories but we'll wort it. Amazing stories and book.
