Not what I thought the taste was

I wanted to take my time before reviewing this, despite knowing that I was in love with this tea the second I opened the resealable baggie, because I wanted to savor the delightful and delicate flavours this tea presents!! The first thing you get when you open the baggie is the stunning, mouthwatering smell of pears. I love ANYTHING pear, and Anjou Pears have been my favourite fruit smell outside of peaches; but now the smell of Korean Pears has beaten out the smell of Anjou Pears!! Next, you are hit with the smell of the star candies that are the delicate sweetness this tea needs. I love the smell of these star candies, and the taste as they melt away into your warm tea, helping to perfume the air! Finally, you get the solid, sturdy taste of the post-fermented loose-leaf tea leaves. And while the taste is solid, it is still delicate and well balanced. This tea, to me, is an absolute perfect cup of tea, and I plan on continuing to purchase more as needed. I also want to give the Camellia tea a try as well, because I have always loved Camellia flowers, and I adore flowers in teas (... or just eating Rose petals because they taste so delicious...); meaning this tea will be delightfully floral I hope!! But, I will keep you all updated on that once I make the purchase sometime down the road.

moonwalk has an extremely pleasant and strong scent that you can immediately smell right out of the bag. if they ever release a home scent, I would love for my entire house to smell like this tea. the scent and flavor is just like a Korean pear which is fairly distinct from western pears. I don't have any experience with post fermented teas but the tea leaf itself seemed to be a bit on the bitter side compared to any other tea I've had in the past (but not in an off-putting way). I don't personally have it in my budget to order this tea regularly but I could see this tea making for a good gift or a purchase to make every now and again.

Well packaged tea and seemed fresh. This tea was purchased for my spouse as something new to try, it did not disappoint!

My current favorite and i cant image anything better. The smell alone is mouth watering. I take it everywhere with me because this is one you want to share. I was lucky and caught it on the sale the first time I purchased. Definitely worth trying!!!

A light Elegant Tea. This is not a pantry tea, this is a tea best used at celebrations, events, parties. Very light, no extreme or harsh flavors. This Osulloc Moon Walk Tea Pear and Stars ( Sugar Crystals ) starts off with an extremely strong flowery, sweet small. Not off putting not artificial. Very inviting The flavor you get is a very subtle sweet sugar taste, and it ends with a very light but present pear flavor.
