Mr. HeaterF228796 High Limit Switch,Multi

After a long day working on a house remodel using a Mr Heater to keep warm the propane tank ran out. Not wanting to call it a day, I quickly changed the tanks and went to start the heater again...but completely spaced turning the fan on. After holding the starter down for the designated time the heater didn't remain on (as smelt horribly of burnt plastic). Not wanting to scrap the heater, I pulled it apart to assess the damage. Aside from partially melting/thinning the plastic air inlet, the only component damaged was the high limit switch. The part is not overly difficult to get to (if you have small hands) and for less than $10 the heater is back up and running. I'd highly recommend this replacement switch. Obviously, following replacement be sure to ensure that all of the gas fittings are tight and that the heater is reassembled as specified by the manufacturer...but replacing this switch is relatively fast (took about 30 minutes) and cheaper than buying a replacement heater.

The media could not be loaded.  It is exactly what I needed. Heater is alive again. Couldn't be happier.

Worked for about 10 min showed my wife I had fixed it we were all happy and then tried to start it back up again to make sure it still worked and nothing waste of my time and money
