Was skeptical when I ordered this item after reading reviews mainly off the cheaper brands. Further research led me to this brand. Well it’s easy, received no shipping hiccups, pluggged it in and voila, it really made a difference. Wow. I’m impressed.Warning: you will need to dust unit periodically to clean as all good things do. Yes, I support this product.

Like 3/4 of Americans, I have a pet. I have an Angora cat. I love her to death, but she has an odor only cat people will know about. Her funk is in the carpet, the rugs, and on the furniture. I clean house regularly and had been using Resolve Pet Spray on the carpets and rugs. The rest of the house gets wiped down with furniture polish and Windex Multi Surface cleaner. Well, what I was doing was just mixing different scents with her smell. That is, until I found these neat little ionizers.I purchased (1) just to see if it worked as described. Let me tell you, it's better than I expected. They are smaller than they appear on Amazon web page, but they work wonders. I didn't notice any difference until the 3rd afternoon. I have a blanket my cat lays on on the counter next to the front door. On the 3rd day I opened the front door and was not hit in the face by my cats odor. There was no fragrance or artificial smell, only fresh clean air! I almost fell over. That (1) little ionizer was working it's butt off for me.Skip to 3 weeks later and I bought a 6-pack of these little beauties. I have one in each bedroom and my office. I plan to buy another 6 pack for my bathrooms. Get this, I sleep with an Apple Watch on to monitor my sleep. The doctor advised me to invest in these watches. Anyway, it is blutooth so it talks to my computer. I looked at my weekly sleep analysis and it looks like I am sleeping an average of 16 minutes more each night since purchasing these ionizers!!! You can't put a price on sleep so I told my doctor and he said "whatever you're doing, keep doing it."I highly recommend these ionizers to anyone with pets. If you have pet dander, hair, lint, dust, pollen, etc...I highly suggest investing in a few of these. They are super easy to clean, just a can of compressed air will do the trick. I stumbled onto these by chance and now I'm a believer in their technology.

I had this plugged in for a couple hours and my nose started feeling ... dry. I looked it up and it is not because of this IONIZER (doesn't affect the humidity). It doesn't seem to remove all i thought it would, but it definitely does something. I slept without it plugged in for 2 nights and woke up to slightly stuffed sinus. It works for me. I have no pets and nobody smokes.

Bottom line, I have purchased these for the past 3-4 years. It PAYS to get the warranty because if you buy it from this company where you are reading this review- you will get a 'hot potato' response should something be wrong with your device. Having been the owner of 6 or 7 of these- I opted to purchase directly from the company ( better accountability). It is easy to install, very easy to use and I have baseboard heating that comes up from a crawl space where I have LOTS of dust. Freshens the air, minimizes odors. I stuck with the product because *when* you get a device that works, it DOES work great. But only for 10 months to a year or so. Definitely check the device and your walls every 2-3 weeks for dark dust around the device and any melting. I am in the habit of unplugging when I go away for more than a weekend. As a precaution because yes, it can be hazardous. My rating is for a WORKING device. The 3 that I purchased that DIDN'T work were a night mare - no customer service to speak of. This company will tell you that they 'can't do anything ' about the product and its warranty is short. The actual company is a little better and will make the attempt to replace if you contact them within the warranty period. Do *not* take it a part, sparce innards and you wouldn't know what to do with them outside of a lab - wipe off with a micro fiber cloth when it gets dark dust on it. When the blue light stops working, or gets dull...its dead. Time for a new one. To avoid the blue light from keeping you awake...put it on a wall outside of your sight or sleep with a sheet over your eyes. Not sure what else you can do. The light tells you how and if it is working. Device emits NO sound and doesn't seem to bother other electronics. ( AM/FM Radio, Streaming TV, Cell phone) - Will purchase again .
