Nice switches
Fairly new to modding keyboards. Had some clicky blue switches that were getting annoying at night for my other half and friends on voice. Decided to go complete opposite and so glad I got these. They are really quiet and feel great. They dont have that tactile bump and have a nice travel distance. Was easy enough to swap the switches over. I did bend a pin on the first switch I tried but I think that was down to me ratjer than the switches. All other switches went in just fine. The only issue I noticed was when removing the key cap it also pulled the switch from the board a couple of times. However it popped right back in and considering I'll probably do that irregularly its bot really a big deal.

Akko Fairy v3 vs Penguin Tactile v3
Mistake in the video , i stated at the end , that the Cherry was / is quieter ; it isn't. These akko fairy switches are a hidden gem , i purcahsed x2 cherry MX silent keys at £12 (box of 10) p/box & i liked them but the silent notion is misleading , they aren't quiet which made me look for something quieter. I'd added the fairy switches along with TTC frozen switches (difficult to find) to a shortlist & given enough reviews state that these are indeed quieter than the Cherry MX i opted to purcahse & i do not regret it. At £18 p/box with 35 switches included the comparative value is blatant, the quality is there for sure & the LED output of the keybed isn't hindered by these switches. These are 100% quieter (contemporary phrase as oppose to a measurement) than the Cherry MX Highly recommended , i use them on the number pad , arrow keys & right shift , ctrl enter etc when I'm gaming. the main letter area is the stock thick-thock sound. UPDATE : Recently purchased Akko Penguin v3 tactile for another board , they for me are far quieter than the fairy The fairy is unmistakabley quiet but not as much as the penguin

Fairy is extremely quiet and feels amazing! Sound test of Creamy Yellow vs Fairy Silent
I've had the Creamy Yellows for a few months and absolutely love them but thought I'd give the Fairy Silent a try. Now by no means am I a custom keyboard enthusiast but I like to dabble into the hobby whilst not spending too much money. Price of these switches in general are well justified. They sound nice and feel great but I did not expect the Fairy Silent to be REALLY silent. It's almost scary! I installed them yesterday and can't stop using my keyboard now! I've attached a video of me using my previous V3 Pro Creamy Yellow vs. my new Fairy Silent on a Cooler Master CK720 but the audio doesn't justify how good and quiet it sounds in person. Again I'm no expert in this hobby but I can definitely recommend the Fairy and the whole range in general. No issues, super happy! EDIT: I forgot to mention, the Fairy Silents are slightly mushy pressing all the way down, this is how they are silent. Personally, I like this feeling but some may not. The Cream Yellows feel EXTREMELY smooth the whole way through. Massively recommend both but for my daily use I prefer the quietness of the fairy. 1 month later still no issues and absolutely love this switch. Getting a new board soon and the first thing I will do is move the Fairy Silents over to it.

beware of the light tint! but good
These switches are silent, there's a slight scratch to them but thats literally just because the keycaps are moving, at the end of the day you'll never be able to remove all sound. They feel slightly soft/mushy to press, likely the lubrication that I'm not used to coming from gateron milky yellows. One thing I am upset about is that because the switches are so pink/purple, setting the backlight of the board to white means it projects purple light instead, and etc for other colors. Seems obvious now that I look at it but I'm a bit stupid so hopefully this helps someone like me lol.

I can now type without disturbing anyone.
Got these silent switches so i can type/game without making a lot of noise. For the price they are brilliant. So quiet and key travel and resistance is just right for me. My keyboard has south facing led's and they do not block the light, they do mute the brightness a bit though.

Exceptionally quiet, just what I wanted!
Really happy, not sure if they are good for gaming but all I wanted was silent keys presses and these are perfect :)
