Coolbreeze Beverages Soda Flavor Syrup Concentrate, 2.5 Gallon BIB Bag-In-Box - Original Cola

It's so hard to find a sodastream syrup that doesn't have fake sugar, which I can't stand the taste of Anyway, I was pretty nervous about getting this huge box of syrup even though I had no idea if it was going to taste okay.I'm the only one that'll be using it, so if it tastes bad, I'll be really...uh, sad. And then there's the fact that at the time of writing this review, I'm literally the 1st reviewer, so there wasn't much to base my purchase decision on. Anyway, luckily it tastes great! I mean, I'm not a taste tester by any means but side by side, there isn't a difference in flavor that I can tell. Of course, carbonation and concentration can vary due to user error or preference. Its been about 7 months since I bought it and I'm almost done with it. For reference, I drink about a liter a day (I'm addicted, what can I say), but there are a couple days per week where I manage to drink something else. I didn't want the syrup to go bad somehow and wanted an easier way to dispense it without buying the adapter nozzle thing, so I carefully poured it out into several gallon-sized bottles and kept all of them in the fridge. Finally, here's my recipe, taken from a reddit post I had scrounged up: I have a SodaStream Terra so I follow the usual steps and fill their bottle up to the line with plain water, then I do 5 pumps of CO2. I fill the rest of that bottle all the way up to the neck with syrup, screw on the cap, GENTLY turn the bottle upside down a couple times to mix it, and then it's ready to drink! Fresh Coke, straight from the fountain. It seems like a lot of syrup, but soda's not good for you for a reason (haha) and also, that's why I use an extra pump of CO2.

It's not amazing but it tastes pretty good. Coke-like, but still obviously a generic soda. I'd buy it again because the price is good and the seller has been great.
