Decent started sable hair brushes
I only bring these out for detail work and they work great. The bristles havenโt frayed and they're pretty easy to keep clean. Great value for sable hair brushes. I would recommend these to anyone starting out painting models

It's definitely real sable!
It's real sable for such a suspicious price. I'm guessing the price is so low because the packaging is cheap and maybe the materials and glue aren't top notch quality, but i take good care of my brushes so i don't expect these to degrade. I'll see what happens.

Golden Maple vs. Winsor & Newton #7series
Here is a comparison of Golden Maple brushes to Winsor and Newton series 7. W&N brushes are size larger compared to Golden Maple, the bristles on W&N are a bit stiffer and Golden Maple are softer and donโt have as much spring back, both come to a very fine point when loaded with paint and I would say basically hold the same amount of paint in the brush belly. The handles are the same quality and almost the same shape in and feel. The price point on Golden Maple is unbeatable for the price of $28 for a set of 3 sable brushes thatโs $9.33 a brush, and W&N just size #2 you will pay $30, size #1 is $23 and size #0 $20 so in total $73 compared to $28 for Golden Maple brand. Time will tell how long both brands would last in comparison but so far after 1 week of use both performed very well.

Good Brushes For Miniature Painting
I am a veteran miniature painter of 40 years. With the shortage of authentic sable brushes I turned to these and honestly they have become my workhorse brushes. They load paint well and maintain tips if cleaned properly. Strongly recommend these!

Great brushes
Excellent brushes, easy to maintain.

Excellent value brushes.
Excellent hybrid brushes. I use them as work horses so I don't have to abuse my expensive Da Vinci kolinsky sable brushes. If you're doing a lot of miniature painting use these for more normal work, touch ups and when using metallic paints. DO NOT USE your expensive Kolinsky bushes with metallic paints, use these. Your wallet will thank me later.

Money well spent.
I love them. No stray hairs and very faint lines are easily achieved

Buy something else.
Legitimately one of the worst brushes that I've ever used. The size 1 brush lost its point about 30 seconds into the first use and never regained it no matter what I did, I've washed it using masters brush soap and pointed it after doing so, it still doesn't stay pointed. I see why they advertise as much as they do, trash product. Buy something else. Rip a hunk of your own hair out and tie it to a stick, you'll save yourself thirty bucks and get the same effect.

Synthetic/Sable
Decent, little pricey, seem to be synthetic and sable mix.
