Why did the seeds not grow?

My seeds grew. I covered the container with plastic wrap and kept it moist. However, keep in mind do not over water. If you over water, the seeds will become moldy.

Where should this be placed in a window with sun or not?

After the grass get about two inches heigh I take it from a dark space and place in in my bay window. It gets morning full sun. I check it every couple of days to see if it needs water. Be careful not to overwater because mold will grow in the grass. I hope this works for you.

Which is the pot—the larger container with holes in bottom (vs. smaller container, which I assume is the lid?) No pictures—would’ve been helpful.
