Alpha Omega Publications JHC400 Horizons Health 4Th Grade Set

I began homeschooling my 9 year old daughter this year, and I wanted to include health. I love this curriculum. It covers a wide variety of subjects for her age level, and it does so from a healthy self-image and Christian perspective. It seems nondenominational in nature- when incorporating the Christian viewpoints, it does so from biblical passages. Also, I don't have to create lesson plans. I can just teach the lessons in order, or choose lessons that apply to other subjects we're studying. The curriculum includes worksheets, activities, stories, and biblical passages. It is created to teach a classroom, but it is easily adapted to work for one-on-one instruction. I will definitely be looking for a 5th grade version for next year!

Very happy with the content of these books. We use them for homeschool health class. We read the books and use them in a group setting.
