I am a novice so completely green. I was able to figure out NO=Normally Open and NC=Normally Closed. Other than that it took some studying. As said in other posts, instructions somewhat lacking. Once you figure it out its fairly easy. A little online video and playing around with it on the bench and it got it figured out in less than an hour. If you've never done one of these definitely recommend testing it out on a table with short wires before installing. Took about an hour to install. Pretty decent construction, definitely better than what I expected for the price. People saying its low quality are wrong. I am sure there is a better quality system out there for over $1000 but this is decent quality and works great. NOTES: There are 2 places to plug in the other wire for the NO/NC. Make sure the metal piece attached to the door is loose. Luckily I knew this from my workplace. I tightened it all the way originally and didn't work at all. Loosened it and worked just fine. The little black box seemed cheesy at first, but works fine. It is small enough I was able to fit it in a one-gang box and all connections in the ceiling including the box are inside the gang-box. You have to buy wire, it was like $12 at Home Depot (12V small gauge). Remotes have a good distance, we went over 50' away and it worked. Update: system still working great. I ordered 4 extra remotes. They got here faster than Amazon said they would. Note these were the same remotes I got with the system so I don't know what all they work with but I knew they would work with this system. Email vendor first if you're not sure. Didn't come with instructions how to program but vendor emailed me directions. It is super easy to program once you know how. Find the little black button in the little black box receiver. Push it once for about a second. Then push the button on the remote. Once I got to the little black box it took me a minute or less to program al 4 remotes.

instructions and youtube video help to make even easier the installation..... it works very well. Note: if by any chance the door does not lock..... it is unlikely there is a malfunction..... make sure the green LED light is on... confirming is ready to magnetize , to hold the door..... if there is no green led it means power is not running through..... If with the green light it does not hold the door..... there is a big chance that not enough of the area of the metal is in contact with the magnetized side..... test it great product By the way since it works by controlling flow of electricity in order to magnetize..... I have been able to add it to my Inteon Isy I994 via a plug in appliance controller and thus I can open the door from my cellphone..... additionally, I linked it to a handheld mini remote and this allows me easily engage the passthrough or cutt off of electricity from a handheld simple device..... (remote)

Upon installating, I noticed the magnet was always hot. my brother has one and he said his is warm as well, so I didn’t think anything about it but, came home one day to a strange electric smell, checked the magnetic lock and it was dead, on Tempe bright side, it’s not hot anymore. The remote works, lights light up No magnetic hold or heat anymore

Nice product. Works well thus far but that was after I had to keep troubleshooting for days by myself while all the while emailing the supplier but not getting any response. I eventually figured out the issue and got it resolved.

Produit tres bien emballe, pieces faciles a monter bien que la notice ne soit pas forcement precise mais avec un peu de logique on s y retrouve. La plaque doit bien toucher l aimant pour fonctionner donc pas de jeu et attention si la porte n est pas bien contre le cadre il faudra mettre une calle sous le bloc aimant. Attention quand on veut monter sur un autre support, il faut demonter la plaque deja sur le bloc aimant.

J'utilise ce produit pour deux barrières, les télécommandes fonctionnent très bien. je recommande ce produit.
