MAJU Black Seed Oil - High Thymoquinone, Wild Turkish Harvest, Cold-Pressed, 100% Black Cumin Seed Oil, Liquid Pure Blackseed, Glass Bottle, 8 oz

I love it! After taking a teaspoon every night, directly followed by yogurt, my psoriasis is cleared and over pain is less!

I've used black seed oil for about a year both internally and topically and recently decided to give this brand a try. This oil is different from the brand I usually buy, in color, flavor, scent, and viscosity. See my photos for side by side color comparison. I'll take each point separately: 1. Color: Maju brand is a clear golden color, no sediment that I could see. My usual brand is much darker and when getting to the end of the bottle (I usually forget to shake it before dispensing) there is a lot of sediment. 2. Flavor: Maju tastes MUCH milder than my usual brand. My usual brand is sharp and pungent to the point that I mix it with MTC oil with a squirt of liquid stevia before gulping the shot down while trying not to taste it. I don't do smoothies because I low-carb. The Maju, mixed with my MTC shot does not need any stevia, tastes quite mild, and does not, so far, give me any "black seed burps" that I usually get with the other. 3. Viscosity: Maju is a bit thinner than my usual brand. I use black seed topically on problem areas and I am used to the feel of it portioning it out and spreading it on my skin. The Maju is thinner. The same amount spreads easier and covers more area. It also soaks in quicker. 4. Scent: Used topically my old brand smelled... loudly pungent. I mixed various essential oils with it to try to tone down/cover up the scent (didn't really work, the black seed smell dominated no matter what). The Maju brand oil has milder scent that seems to blend well with essential oils. 20 minutes after application I can still smell the black seed, but it is not unpleasant. I emailed the sellers about the differences and asked them to explain. Basically, they say the answer to all of the above is that there are regional differences in color based on different growing regions. Oils from India/Egypt seeds are darker/pungent. Oil from Turkey, lighter/less pungent. Processing also makes a difference as Maju brand is cold pressed without solvents. They also said other oils are unfiltered, however they did not say theirs WAS filtered - but it looks filtered to me. They say their method of processing results in lighter color and more active compounds. I was pleased with the quick response from the sellers. The upshot is that I bought a second bottle and gave it to my adult daughter who is experiencing some health problems, instead of giving her the other brand. I guess that means I like this stuff better. My only quibble so far is the shaker top on the bottle. This might be nice if I shook this drop by drop onto salads or something, but I measure it out by pouring. I had to use a knife to pry that thing out of the bottle. If I change my mind after a few months of use, I will update this review!

The taste is not great but the fog that I’ve experienced in perimenopause has definitely lifted. I will definitely keep taking it.

Tastes and smells like lighter fluid to start charcoal grill. I’m used to taking healthy supplements that don’t always taste the greatest, but this was very chemical-tasting and lingered in my mouth a good while. I choked down about 3/4 of a teaspoon last night, and in about 30-45 minutes I felt a little sick to my stomach, and burped several times, but it went away and I was able to go to sleep. Today at work I’ve had major upset stomach, with (embarrassingly) having to change clothing bc it was so sudden and uncontrollable! (NOT a good thing at my job!) Needless to say I cannot take this stuff. Super sad I paid for something that cannot be returned. Update: Tried again, using less drops while off work. Getting more used to the taste(although still not good), but is more palatable when added to morning cocktail of healthy ingredients, lemon juice and liquid stevia. I am still waiting to see if this makes a difference in my overall health and perhaps to stop my hair from falling out. 8/17/26 Still using in my morning cocktail and was actually able to take it straight since I forgot to put it in there this morning, and I am able to tolerate it much better. It has not given me diarrhea any longer that may have been due to accommodation of other factors in the beginning, I don’t know, but I’m going to keep using it to see what the health benefits can do for me

Great quality black seed oil! It arrived well packaged, tastes fresh, and is easy to use daily. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy it again

Best on the market. Period. I can feel the healing effect and its not placebo. The inflammation literally goes away. If you have any high inflammation take 2x big tablespoons on an empty stomach. If severe then take that same dose 3x a day.

I’ve been using Maju black seed oil for years, I’ve tried other brands, and always find my way back, it’s the absolute best for me! It helps me to stay in great health!! There’s a saying, “that black seed oil cures everything but death.” Thanks Maju!!

I've been using this for a few weeks I'm not noticing any difference in my skin hair nails or anything. In hindsight after reading the company about section I would like very much to in the future purchase from people who are in Africa, it would be nice to find this black seed oil from indigenous people on the continent instead of paying people who are not indigenous to the continent. I really would like to see my money going to indigenous communities instead of people co-opting indigenous knowledge.

The taste is noticeably different from the original one ordered through their website. The oil seems spoiled, possibly due to sun exposure.
