Sheep Health, Husbandry and Disease: A Photographic Guide

I'm writing this from the Northeastern US. I must say that this book is EXCELLENT. This book is British, and it is clear that our neighbors over the pond have certainly learned an incredible amount about sheep over the .... MANY ... years that they have been raising them. The photographs are so useful, and the text is not "wordy" - it's direct and helpful. To date, this is the very best book in our sheep farm's library.

This book is my second best buy of 2013. The content within is thorough, precise and very useful. The pictures are in full colour through-out and very clear. They are a great help in identifying diseases and illness's etc before they are . Prevention is better than cure! This book compliments "Practical Sheep Keeping by Kim Cardell" very well. Both of these books are highly recommended to take pride of place on the shepherd's bookshelf.Please vote this review helpful!P

Have bought books from this author before and find her works to be ideal for the information that I am looking for on sheep health. I always use these books whenever I encounter an issue and usually find the necessary information that I require, I. Some cases it’s been a life saver, literally, would recommend to anyone requiring this sort of information.

This book is a must for any high school student in a 4-H livestock club or those wanting to become veterinarians with a concentration in food animals. The information was well-presented and concise with TONS of great photographs.

This is a useful addition to any shepherd's library. Good basic information.
