Perfect little Carry On!
I got this in the Lark yellow. Straight out the box I thought this is way too shiny construction yellow and not pastel like the pics - but the color grew on me and once I got used to it I admit it is true to the pics - just took getting used to. Got compliments from other travelers and flight attendants on the color and cup holder. The wheels were like BUTTER. I have sensory issues and this wheeled like a dream. The buttery flow was very soothing. The phone holder on the handle was too big for my iPhone 16pro. I mean it “fit” but barely and kept falling off so I didn’t use it. That said, the cup holder, phone stand and handle all worked very well and appeared very durable. The handles were also comfortable to grab. The combination zipper locking mechanism was very convenient. Allowing TSA to open it with a special restricted use key without messing with my lock. I did not test out the charger ports built into the top of the suitcase next to the Lock The suitcase was very durable and portable. The yellow did scuff pretty easily. I will try and clean those off when I get home with a magic eraser. Overall a lovely travel piece. The price was more than I’d typically pay for luggage but I will keep this and likey buy more in the future.

Beautiful and sturdy and functional! Very happy.
I really struggled to decide what I wanted in my new carryon! There are so many improvements nowadays. I was really tempted by the new wide handles, but I knew I needed to be able to strap on my puppy carrier and they aren't made for the wide handles yet. :( At least mine wasn't) So.... This one seemed to check off my other wants. Charge port with USB-C, cupholder (although I was skeptical about its durability), extra hooks for bags and stuff. But really what I was after was the trunk style! I had just returned from 10 days traveling to Ireland and Scotland (6 flights!) and was about to embark on 6 more flights stateside to visit kids. It was time to upgrade and this suitcase did not disappoint! My husband was rather annoyed that I didn't want to check my bag. Why have to "lug it around" he said. Well, there was no lugging with this! The wheels rolled so smoothly. My husband commented several times what a smooth 'ride' it was. And he kept taking from me! In fact, he wanted to hang HIS bag on it all the time. And I'm pretty sure he bought me the oversized water on purpose so he could use the cupholder for his coffee! After having to flop open my traditional suitcase on the floor to access anything, being able to simply set this carry on on the dresser and lift the "lid" was so nice! I was able to pack 7 days of clothes and two pairs of shoes, a jacket and my toiletry bag comfortably. No need for expansion! (Which they won't allow a carryon to be expanded anyway.) Even fully packed it wasn't so heavy I couldn't lift it one handed. And in 6 flights, mine was the only buttery yellow that I saw, you couldn't miss it. So you attach a portable battery pack in a small pocket inside the suitcase to use the external ports. Which is fine, just make sure it is fully charged. However, the very last flight (1 in 6!) demanded that I remove the battery at the gate when they were going to put it under the plane. Annoying. However! I was able to get right to it in under 60 seconds because it was so easy to lift the lid and get to it! And I didn't have to take up a bunch of floor space at the gate and expose my entire contents either. This carryon is a keeper. The wheels and handle feel sturdy and smooth. It's a pretty color: cheery but not obnoxious. I can spot it a mile away amongst the sea of suitcases. It was strong enough to support my husband's carry on while rolling. I still feel that the cupholder is the weakest thing on it, but it still functions smoothly, neatly and did it's job. I didn't have to hunt for or share a charging station at the airport. I am happy with this case and am considering getting the full size to check for bigger trips!

So far-really great!
I LOVE this bag! Packing this bag was a breeze! I love that it has one deep compartment rather than the clam shell opening to fill two separate sides. I easily fit everything in it. I’m packing for a week to an island beach location so pretty easy to pack a capsule wardrobe, not much big and bulky on this trip. I’m traveling on American and had no problem with the size for a carry on. I found a lightweight charger to put in the case to charge my phone when I need it. I love the cup holder, that’s the bomb. The wheels are very smooth rolling. They worked well on carpet on our hotel and it flew on the tile at the airport. I just boarded my flight and it fits great in the luggage holder above my seat. I will try and add some more photos of it so you can see real photos of the product. The one currently attached shows how nicely it works overhead. Update: just coming home from a week long vacation and this bag has traveled like a dream. Had to pull on some gravel and rougher in paved roads and it handles well. Everyone loves the cup holder and I’m currently charging my phone while I update my review. I definitely recommend this bag. One of my favorite purchases I have made :)

Great basic suitcase that holds a lot. Extra features kind of useless.
If you are planning to get this because of the cup holder feature, DONT. Most cups don’t fit, and if they do, if they don’t fit perfectly the holder folds in on itself. Just is a useless feature I don’t use. Same goes for the notches that are supposed to hold your phone. I have an iPhone 15 and the notches are too far apart to hold it. The basic function of the suitcase is great!! The trunk style is awesome and holds a LOT, especially for a chronic over-packer like me. The handle is sturdy, the wheels move smoothly, it’s easy to carry. The lock is super simple and nice, a mechanism I use a lot, especially when I have to check my bag. That being said, it has gotten scuffed up easily. I have the yellow one, and have only checked it twice. The first time it was checked it came back with MAJOR scuffing unfortunately. Still would recommend for its basic functions, but don’t expect anything amazing from the little features.

Carry on perfect
Thought it was going to be junk but it’s actually really good. Wheels roll super smooth. I fly almost every week. Bag has held up well. The top opening is awesome. Some much easier to pack vs clamshell style. Coffee holder is cool but I don’t really use it much. I will say this bag is not designed for the rigors of checked bags. Purely a carry on bag. That’s 95% of my travel. When I need to check a bag a use something more suitable for the beating checked bags take.

Lock does not work!!
So I just bought this suit case less then a month ago for vacation. Super excited about it. It rolled great. Thought it was the best until I locked it. I had set the lock at home knew the lock code it worked fine when testing it. So we are on vacation I locked a few valuables in my suit case with my lock code I knew. I could not get it open. It would not open for anything. Tried everything under the sun to get it open and it would not work. Had to call the lock smith. He could not get it open either. Finally he cut the lock to get it open. I had tried to call the customer number for Maxi but they would not answer my calls. Bottom line don’t buy this suit case if you plan on using the lock. Waisted a good part of our vacation day to try to get it open. The lock smith said he could feel our code was right but it still couldn’t get it open. Think twice before buying!!

Worth every penny! No better suitcase!
I have had this suitcase for about a year and a half, and lived out of it for 10 months total travel time. This little suitcase might be the most impressive piece of travel equipment I've ever purchased. The single large space inside is perfect for organizing my packing cubes, shoes, odds and ends, and souvenirs any which way I need to. It physically lays in half the space of a clamshell, which alone is worth its cost. But the real deal is how durable this piece is. I have dragged it through every inch of Morocco, and a few other places including Thailand, Brazil, Portugal, New York, and a few camp weekends too. Mud, rain, cobblestones, (so many cobblestones in so many medinas), stairs, ramps, and extreme temps below freezing and well above 115-f. It has been airline checked several times and never damaged, and I have effortlessly carried it on dozens of airplanes with nobody ever checking it for size or weight. To be fair, I've only used the cupholder twice, but it was quite handy when I did need it. I literally LOVE my suitcase, and bought one as a gift for my fiance. IT'S WORTH IT.

Unique Design and Great Quality, but a Few Practical Trade-Offs
This will likely be my new go-to carry-on suitcase. I initially bought it because my old one was starting to crack, and this model stood out for its unique side-opening design. I thought it would be more convenient than the typical clamshell layout, and while it does save some space when opening, it’s not quite as perfect in practice as I hoped. The pockets on the opening flap are quite tight, fine for documents or slim items, but not ideal for anything bulkier. The bottom section still has the typical handle rails that make packing and utilizing the space a bit awkward, and the strap layout can be mildly frustrating, as the securing straps and lid-support straps sometimes get in each other’s way. Another thing to note is that this suitcase does not expand, so if you tend to shop while traveling, you’ll want to leave a bit of extra room or plan to carry items separately. That said, the build quality feels solid, the spinner wheels roll smoothly, and the color and finish look fantastic. Despite its quirks, this is a well-made and stylish suitcase that offers a fresh take on the carry-on design.

Great but will not fit in Air Canada dash 8 overhead bin
This suitcase is awesome! I’ve only used it got 1 trip so can’t comment on durability yet. I love the top-load style, much easier to pack and make better use of space. I fit a full sized keyboard tucked into the side, that would not have worked in a 50/50 set up. Held clothes for 4 nights, CPAP, shoes, snacks, keyboard, and more. The charger ports works as expected and there’s a nice sized pocket inside for your battery pack. Handle is sturdy, comfortable. Rolls nice. The cup holder was very handy. Hooks/device holder are not necessary but can be handy to hang a small item or whatever. Unfortunately, it did not fit in the overhead bin on a small Air Canada plane, it was about a half inch too thick to slide in. Huge hassle since I was boarding in the middle of the pack and discovering I had to gate check blocked traffic in the aisle.

Fantastic Carry-On! The Mixi PC Hardside is a Winner!
Fantastic Carry-On! The Mixi PC Hardside is a Winner! I absolutely love my Mixi Carry-on PC Hardside luggage! The durable PC exterior handled travel beautifully, keeping my items safe. Inside, the thoughtful organization made packing a breeze. The cup holder is a brilliant addition – so handy for coffee on the go! Best of all, the spinner wheels are incredibly smooth, making airport navigation effortless. This is a stylish, well-built, and highly functional carry-on that made my trip so much easier. Highly recommend!

Worth it.
This item is everything. So cute. The colour is exactly as pictured. Even though it’s a 20inch it feels smaller on the inside so it will force you to be intentional about what you pack. But a great space saver when accessing the contents. It rolls very smooth and the whole item seems very well constructed.
