I really enjoyed this book, it felt like you were watching Ozil's whole life. This book is great for anyone who likes soccer. This is the best soccer player autobiography /biography I've read! P.S (This review was written by my son on my account)

I first saw mesut ozil playing for Germany against Argentina at the Cape Town stadium in fifa 2010 w.c. It was admiration at first sight for me....I told my 20yr old daughter.....watch this player if u want to appreciate classy football As a Muslim I am also appreciative of his Humility When he joined arsenal....I rejoiced The book gives a good story for me to treasure Riedewaan Abrahams Cape Town Rsa

If you came here looking for the next Pulitzer or Man Booker you might be dissapointed. What you should come here for is a story of challenges and triumphs from one of contemporary football's most talented players; a man whose friends and family all vouch for his heart of gol and pure intentions, and a story that left me inspired and very proud to be a Mesut Özil fan. There were indeed points that I coudn't distinguish between his personal voice and that of his editors / co-writers (which could have also been lost in transaltion from German to Englsih), and also times when I thought the book read more like a defence of his life against naysayers and the media than an autobiography. However, the sheer inspiration of his story contunually makes up for this and throughout reading you can't help but empathise with Özi's honestly told journey but also feel empowered to gun for greatness in your own life pursuits.

It’s a wonderful insight to the world of my current favorite footballer. watching on television you can see the genius at work, reading the book introduces you to the man, mesut !

Despite the many odds---which were unfortunate like integration issues, the right wingers' pathetic criticisms for his background at such a tender age through focus and concerted efforts on his game will truly pierce through the heart. Of course there are some startling revelations and other nitty gritties of his time at various clubs. But should have elaborated more on world cup campaigns and other international main events. All in all, if ur facing some pressures in ur life this book surely does more than help to say the least for u

This book is amazing. Mesut splits everything into great detail and has really underlined the experiences that footballers go through in transfers, media life and just in the soccer itself. Anyone who likes soccer and wants to be a future star, get his book because you will be prepared if you do make it. Again, thanks Mesut

The way the book is written convayed to me how Mesut Ozil is as a player And misunderstodood by ma NY in this country. Also. the translation was better than many sports books I have read.
