Don't waste you money on cheap imitations
I tried using those cheap $20 imitation remotes and the quality was just not there. Every one would eventually quick working. This device is sturdy, simple to use and dependable. I use it a lot doing portraits.

Works great, is always in my Pelican Monster case when I go on shoots. High School Spiritline and dancers that I shoot love it to take crazy self shots with each other when I set up a DSLR for them on a tripod. Imagine sharing something with 35 plus Cheerleaders/Pom and 160 performing dancers. For sure now the biggest toy in gear box but for sure a valuable tool for me in some of my work, LOVE it..

Nikon Remote Thoughts
This works. However, it is klunky, large, and the path is easily impeded. Furthermore, it is in the way when on the camera. I do like that I can be in pictures withough using the delayed release on my camera. SO I would buy it again. I do wish there was a better product available for my camera. I am dissapointed by Nikon.

Nikon ML-3
I read the reviews of this item before purchasing it and the reviews of other (non-Nikon) similar items. The biggest complaint that I saw regarding the Nikon was the price. I agree. The reviews of the performane of the similar non-Nikon items that I read were a very mixed bag of quality, performance and reliability issues.I bit the bullet and bought the Nikon. I haven't been disappointed. It's pricey for what it is and what it does but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Unreliable Product
This thing performs it's function. Counting the original, that came in the box, this is my third one. Why do I need three? I don't. I only need one. The two predecessors failed. Not clear why. All I use them for is camera / computer communication. They are not subjected to any weird stresses. Yes, it performs its function, but they fail too fast.

Good but also cumbersome
Not that you have a lot of choice in the matter... this is the only unit of its kind supplied by Nikon for the D200. The unit can take pictures, be used as a trigger (like motion detection) and works in continuous or single shot mode. It all works just as advertised and is pretty slick. The only issue is the wire: small connector and a wire that gets in the way. The older D70 had the IR built in! Why not with the D200? Yes... this is not really this product's fault.

It's Nikon so it works and is good quality, but a little pricey
Just as described. On time delivery. It's Nikon so it works and is good quality, but a little pricey. Only wish they made radio triggers - that's the only improvement I'd make.

Lichtschrankenfunktion. In der Tasche prima untergebracht. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
